Relaxed dining at reasonable prices and great food. Wonderful service and very convenient location for our hotel (Penny Lane Hotel). Thanks
Of all the restaurants the Boss and I have been to in the past few weeks the Spire ticks all the boxes, very good food, prompt service, a good cross section of customers and a good atmosphere. The three course early evening menu was good value as well as good food etc. I wished that more restaurants could achieve that balance.... Nestled in suburban South Liverpool Spire consistently turns out a standard of gastronomy you would usually expect from a top City Centre eatery while also providing excellent customer service and without leaving a significant dent in your wallet. There's no doubt that Spire is deserving of its place among the best of Liverpool's fine dining eateries, with many of the... More
We ate here on a Thursday evening from the fixed price menu and had a lovely evening. Every time we visit Spire we find excellent value, delicious food and friendly and efficient service. It can be very hard to get a table in this restaurant so book in advance if you have a specific date/occasion in mind!
This amazing little restaurant at the end of Penny Lane in South Liverpool is phenomenal. The food is absolutely delicious and looks like the kind of meals you would find in the country's top eateries. Presentation isn't everything by any means but everything is plated with such attention to detail that you can't help but stare. Portion size is fantastic... More

A birthday party of 8 people. The early bird special is great value, the food and service were both excellent.
Meals and service first class. Impressed that the waiters can bring the food to a table of eight without asking who ordered what. This is a sign of true professionalism. Will return when next in Liverpool.
Really brilliant local place with warm and welcoming atmosphere. That is just to start with... The food was fantastic without too much fuss and service efficient and subtle. A must visit .
The food here is quick and delicious. the ham hock terrine was moist and well presented and the white onion & truffle soup was thick and full of flavour. But we didn't really see the point in the sprinkling of paprika on every plate we had served. The lamb and beef fillet were both excellent but they were identical dishes... More
