Out of all of the Italian restaurants I've been to, this restaurant still remains as one of my favourites as every time I've been here, the food is perfect. The staff are friendly and professional too. Highly recommend this place!

We called in Il Forno last Sunday after watching the Tour of Britain. The choice of food and wine is excellent. The Tagliolini Nero with Scallops was delightful. Will definitely be returning. Ciao for now.

Although the service was pretty quick, one waiter was particularly abrupt and our drinks orders were mixed up. The pasta was not fresh and the sauce was not spicy. The meal was also not very warm although the plate was hot. No parmesan was offered. A service charge was added for four of us without warning so we didn't bother... More

I've visited this restaurant 3 times for dinner. It's a great place to go with friends or family and I've never had a disappointing meal here. The restaurant is always packed, the food is consistently good and the service is friendly and efficient. I recommend the pumpkin ravioli and the breaded cod. It was a totally different experience sitting near... More

Visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and I can honestly say this was one of my best nights out. We were shown to our table on arrival and our drinks order was taken, the atmosphere in this place is great and felt comfortable straightaway, I ordered calamari for starters n my husband bruschetta both were delicious, we were... Ate here on a quiet Thursday night. We didn't book a table and we didn't need to, there were plenty of tables. We shared an antipasti platter for a starter, it was enormous and everything on the platter was delicious. For main I couldn't decide between 2 dishes so I asked the waiter which he would recommend and he then... More

We ate here on a Saturday evening in August. Starters of bruschetta classica and tiger prawns with garlic and chilli. The prawn starter was £9.25...for 3 prawns. This has chilli in it so I expected a bit of heat but there wasn't any until I suddenly got a blast of heat from a single bite halfway through eating it, seems... More
