Although the beer selection was great, the music was absolutely rubbish, and so loud we finished our drinks quickly and left!
We saw good write-ups in the local tourist brochures and decided to try it out after our morning visit to the Beatles' childhood homes. Was staying the night in a hotel on the dock. Noticed this place as I was driving in. Very traditional pub with lots of real ales and lagers on tap. A pub like they used to be, in a good way.
Been to this pub on many occasions whilst visiting liverpool, what you see is what you get, it is great, the beer is 1st class staff 1st class atmosphere 1st class, it is a genuine liverpool pub, will be going back soon
The Baltic Fleet appears to be a Work in Progress surrounded by scaffolding but enjoyed my visit and the best pint of Real Ale I've consumed in ages. In addition to this i also enjoyed a lovely bowl of scouse all at reasonable prices and just across the road from the Albert Dock, i would recommend a visit.
Visited this pub one evening in September and enjoyed the beer. We tried four different Wapping Beers, all were very tasty. I will be back again.
It's one of the oldest pubs in the area and its filled with character. They serve a good selection of beers brewed underneath the pub itself. They also have some nice pies and a really nice scouse. Make sure that you come early because food runs out early. Its frequented by locals and is an attraction by itself.
You will love it or hate it. Reminds me of when I was a lad and that's a while ago. Disabled friendly, you can get a wheelchair in no problem. Pies, crisps and good beer, what more do you need.
