Old pub near the Docks. Went for lunch to try traditional scouse, which was delicious. Wide range of ciders and beers, brewed on premises. Not so busy at lunchtime but busy at night. Negative experience with people begging for cigarettes...

Interesting range of real ales and ciders. Three drinking areas inside.# Limited availability of bar food/snacks. Log burner fire between the two rear bars. Friendly landlord and locals. WiFi available, ask staff for password. Worth a visit if in the area.

Busy pub, good friendly atmosphere. Plenty of choice of Beer. Toilets horrid. However, I think this is a pub with work in progress.

Were staying in The Hampton and this pub is right outside the door. I'd looked on their website and it said they served food including Scouse, pies and sausage and onion baguettes so we decided to call in for our evening meal. The decor is very traditional; wooden floors, bench seating including some old settles. There is a log burner... More

Very traditional pub on edge of docks, great atmosphere and well stocked real beers. Close to centre of Liverpool and hotels. If you want a real pub this is it.

awesome beer brewed on location, had three pints of the excellent Wapping stout in short order! funnily enough i had stayed at the Hampton right next door to this pub the week before and hadn't thought to visit, but was very glad to finally get to drink there after reading good reviews about it subsequently! great barman, nice pies, one... Great beer and friendly staff. The Landlord took time out to sit with us and give us the lowdown on the history of the pub and the Baltic Fleet. This is a must for people who enjoy good beer and a traditional pub atmosphere. Would have liked to have been able to stay longer but we had more pubs to visit!
