Quality of food was good but a little over-priced. Had to remind waiter about drinks order and accompanying sauces. Thick slices of white bread with butter is NOT a starter. When we queried absence of 'selected olive oil and balsamic' we were brought a dish of neat balsamic. Comfortable surroundings and pleasant atmosphere.

Together with extended family, we all dined here while visiting Liverpool 1 area. This restaurant is named after one of the first Steamship's to sail from Liverpool to New York in 1817. Cozy, although it can get a little loud, but this is offset by the wonderful food offerings and bar service from very attentive helpers, thank you Celine for... More

I've dined at The Munro a couple of times before and not been disappointed. Sunday lunch yesterday was perfect. Kidneys and mushrooms were sooo tasty (if there had been bread on the table I would have had to mop the sauce up!), my friend had stuffed mushroom starter and said it was lovely. We both had seabass ....my initial thoughts... More

I came here with my partner for Sunday lunch at I had heard that it was really good. I ordered the beef, he had the lamb. The meat was really nice, so were the 2 or 3 roast potatoes, but for the price you end up paying for 2 courses each you'd expect a little more on the plate. No... More

Popped in here for Sunday lunch as they advertised vegetarian. The staff were really really lovely . However, the food seemed to have been prepared the day before - they couldn't do me fresh veg without butter. My meat eating butter eating husband felt that there was too much butter in everything - including the gravy - not necessary in... More

Myself and three girl friends visited this lunchtime. We found the staff warm and friendly and the food just fab. We had the two courses for £12. Great value for money.
