Relaxed and informal, The Egg is a great place to go for lunch - you will instantly feel at home. The food was great and I'll be back soon with friends.

I so wanted to enjoy this place as I am a veggie, they have a great selection but the food is always bland and tasteless and you get way too much on your plate, good value for money but the food is not much.

I have been a regular visitor for many years. The food is always tasty and there are many choices. The premises are relaxed and they display interesting art work for sale that changes regularly. Prices are reasonable.

If you are in Liverpool city centre and looking for good and cheap vegetarian meal, this is definitely the place to go. Food is very tasty and you will find choices for vegan, too. Friendly staff and quirky, rustic interior. Free Wi-Fi is a bonus :-)

My son who is veggie suggested we all go to Egg for a meal. He described it as cheap and cheerful with great food. I've got to be honest if it had just been me and my husband we probably wouldn't have got as far as the top of the stairs. What a mistake that would have been! We had... More

I visited here with my daughter one night after school. I'm sorry to say we didn't enjoy it at all. The girl who served us was so unfriendly, not at all welcoming. We both got spicy burgers and thought they were tasteless. Plus the salsa they put on the burger is cold so it cools your burger down so much... More

Absolutely love this chic little vegetarian cafe, boasting good chilled out atmosphere, warmth and real wholesome food. The decor is homely and the upper balcony with fairy lights sets this apart from other cafés. The food is a real hit and the staff are warm and welcome is this relaxed setting. The doorstop bread and real butter are a delightful... More
