Always a lovely experience

The Egg Café is a really nice place for dinner and lunch. I always enjoy the adorable and charming décor and atmosphere. The food is very tasty and comes in truly massive portions. If you're a person who's eyes are sometimes bigger than they're stomach then I suggest you order only one dish at a... read more

Found the Egg Cafe by chance when looking for a quick bite to eat in Liverpool and all I can say is WOW!! It is so difficult finding a restaurant that serves anything close to a decent vegetarian meal but the Egg serves fantastic vegetarian meals. If you are willing to climb the three flights of stairs you will not... More

A very casual laid back establishment seating upstairs and many tables with window views out Food pretty good - it's all veggie - service friendly enough and very reasonably priced. Not for the unfit you walk up two flights of stairs to get there and it might be hard to find. Wardens ticket cars outside be wary Paradise for veggies

Great Food, Big Portions, Lovely Cakes and Very Good Prices. There's also a set menu deal which is good value if your hungry. You get to sit at big tables and chat to other folk. One couple advised me to get 2 halves of cake instead of one single portion. Very Good Advice. Yummy.

Went with my mum to have a nice sit down and chat with some food but didn't have enough cash with us. Asked if my mum could order while I ran out to get cash but was told bluntly 'Pay before you eat'. I thought maybe I was not understood properly and asked if it was okay to pay what... More

We were on our way to visit the Liverpool Cathredals, and we decided to stop and have a nice breakfast. We looked and found the Egg Cafe, it had some good reviews, so we thought we would give it a try. I have to say, after climbing the 3 Flights of stairs, the decor of the restaurant was pretty cool.... More

A cafe with character, affordable good tasting food, great atmosphere, good choice of vegetarian food (i'd like to see more vegan & organic options though!) great little hangout for lunch or dinner and definitely worth a visit.

The food is all home made and Veggie/vegan friendly too!! Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Only drawback is the staircase that has to be climbed in order to reach the food so not wheelchair friendly!
