Can be found down a little side street, just off Bold St. Look out for the purple doorway! Along with a group of friends, I've booked a table here a couple of times for birthdays/ gatherings. Great that you can pay to bring your own drink! The menu is on the small side, but the food is tasty, healthy and... More

This place is way overrated. The setting itself is fine but everything else not so much. Menu is tiny .I had the spicey burger which was nice but for a veg place , the salad was pathetic. Lettuce , tomato ,and some pasta. Not good enough IMO.

My wife and I were told about "The egg cafe" on our last visit to Liverpool but unfortunately we didn't have time to go there, this time we did, we weren't disappointed, lovely fresh food and a good choice too. Can't wait to go back again on our next visit.

I discovered this place through a friend who raved about the myriad of healthy options available. It was not a let down I can tell you. I opted for the veggie burger but I could have eaten everything as it all looked so good. My plate arrived at my table within 10 minutes and in addition to the burger there... More

We were recommended Egg by one of the Lush shop staff in town as somewhere good for veggies, so we went for brunch one day and we are really glad we did! The vegetarian breakfast was hearty and yummy, without frills or fanciness (the way it should be!), and the beans on toast were good too. The selection of salad... More

What a great find. My boyfriend is vegan so was great to have a "full english" with him! Staff so lovely and helpful. They are open in eve until 10.30pm and you can "bring yr own" - £1 corkage. What a bargain. Will def go back and highly recommend!

had lunch here with my friend who has been several times. had the veggie chilli and it was gorgeous. it came with 3 different salads; fresh salad, dressed pasta salad and a cous cous salad that contained chick peas. a big portion! nice atmosphere too. would recommend.

The Egg didn't have good vibes about vegetarianism. Some folks there were pleased to harass with racist language. The food was surprisingly bland, not fresh, and lacked creativity as if the recipe stopped half way.

Look. I know scrambled eggs man. I understand scrambled eggs on like a karmic level. To describe them would be to cheapen them but true scrambled eggs have an enigmatic, esoteric quality that is instilled through the almost alchemical sublimation of the eggs form. Great scrambling can enlighten and mystify the senses like great art. I woul urge you to... More
