Great Breakfast

Love this place, has been here for years. The breakfast is really good and i can also recommend the bacon butty.decor is fantastic but the drinks are a little pricey and the mens toilets are shockingly bad so looses a point.

Lovely to have a choice for veggies other than the standard cheese sarnie or risotto. Nice atmosphere, good food at a reasonable price. Recommended.

I went here a couple of weeks ago, just to give it a try. Had no expectations, but thought it looked great from the outside. Since then I have craved the sausage on toast that they do. My god, I have never actually craved eating something again before. It was mega. Went back again today, was great. Nice quirky place,... More

I have been coming here a few times a year for food and drinks since 1989! The martinis are excellent and the food is well priced and good-better than many more expensive places. The staff are always friendly and it is comfortable with a good atmosphere. I have been to many bars and cafes over the years some great and... More

Nice place. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good, certainly had worse but have had better. My major gripe is this not allowing swaps. I had a breakfast without beans, tomatoes or a drink. I asked for an extra piece of toast but refused. WHY? Surely the cost of what I took off covers the cost of a piece of... More

On planning our visit to Liverpool we chose to look online for recommended places to eat breakfast and discovered Cafe Tabac! We are so glad that we stumbled across this little cafe online as we may have walked past it otherwise. The full english breakfast was fantastic, probably one of the best fry up's I've had and great value for... More

Love the decor and lighting of this place, perfect for any time of the day. I've been a few times now after my sister recommended the breakfast, which is to die for and is also reasonably priced. However, I feel that although the food is amazing, the staff let this place down slightly as the service is quite poor and... More

Been here a few times staff very good and food well priced and good . Today however i got the chilli dog and wedges. The dog fine wedges grey in the center limp and tasteless. Was thinking of a party here. Will try again to see if it has improved.

Tabac is simply awesome. They do the best full English breakfast in Liverpool as far as I'm concerned and their chilli dogs, burgers and wedges aren't too shabby either. Any time someone asks where to eat in the city center, Tabac is instantly my first suggestion. The staff have always been incredibly friendly with me and my girlfriend and we... More
