Never fails to impress

Went twice in 2 days over Easter - a lunch time menu and Sunday dinner set menu. Both were exceptional. The lunch menu was welsh beef mini burgers with shallots and greek dip. Went with friends for breakfast. I've only ever been for dinner before. It was ok overall but mine had mint all over it, which tasted very odd. It was mediocre overall. I think that there are better places in the city for breakfast.

I often go to lunch at deli as I work nearby, it's consistently excellent. I had to write a review after my visit today, the new French chef had made tiramisu OMG it was by far the best I have ever tasted, I also went a couple of days later & got a take out of the Opera cake, another... More

Lovely vegetarian breakfast, good value for money - worth a visit. When we visited there was hardly anybody in (midweek) and we were served really quickly. Not sure about the veggy black pudding but hubby loved it.

Have been to the Deli a few times for lunch and to buy food, and I really like it, I've had the Greek salad twice and there Hummus is delicious. The meat counter is good the sausages are very good better than you buy in a supermarket. It is pricey but its quality stuff and I don't mind paying if... More

The chefs understand how to please vegetarian foodies. We have been eating here regularly for several years and the quality is always high. There are imaginative and varied vegetarian options each day rather than the obvious standards.

We all went to this restaurant early evening . We had two lamb rumps and belly pork which was okay. The lamb was a little too undercooked but as it was Monday night staff were doing other things to get this sorted out effectively - updating blackboards etc ... The restaurant had nobody else in when we went in then... More

Awful experience......went for a breakfast and was welcomed with an ice cold reception, zero atmosphere......asked for white toast, wasn't told there was only wholemeal bread which was just dumped on our table .....had two bites of a very average breakfast and walked out ....if you want an over pretentious atmosphere whilst you have your breakfast to get ready for the... I have been here several times - food always good and staff friendly. Lovely to also wander around the deli and buy interesting cheeses, meats etc. Need to make an appointment at weekends - but great for lunch or dinner. Worth a visit.
