Wet Sunday lunch time. Plans were scuppered by rain and snow. So my better half suggested Délifonseca. No wait for table. staff were friendly and accommodating to us with a loud 14th old. many other families with children arrived soon after. Two main meals, a soup and drinks coat £50. Went back to this outlet and the meal of turbot and blackened beef was really nice. Very well presented and the staff were very hospitable. I had to send a tea cup back as it was really stained and a little bit of attention to detail are still not quite right. Overall though the staff went out of their way... More

Been loads of times friends , family Business couples and mostly Solo but I don't visit any more . Think the service has really let this place down . Can't fault the food or its freshness it's just the service it can be very annoying when you visit a place quite regularly and the staff treat you like a stranger... More

It was cold and wet outside, but inside the sun shone. Lovely staff can never do enough and the food is tip top. Today I enjoyed a perfect cottage pie followed by an excellent stick toffee pudding and a great cappuccino. All delicious and prepared and presented with flair.

I frequent here regularly making use of the restaurant, deli counter and shop. The staff and full of helpful advice and the quality of the food and goods there is next to none. I would recommend this place to everyone who appreciates good service, food and value.

Lunch at delifonseca, Liverpool recommended to us by a friend and lived up to description. Food was very good although menu wasn't huge. Great platters for starters and good selection of sandwiches and hot main courses. Some of the best fried potatoes I have ever had. Already recommended Fonseca to relatives.

My wife and I recently had a celebratory meal at Delifonseca at 12 Stanley Street, the sister restaurant to that at Brunswick Dock. The meal was excellent, the chicken broth was wholesome and home -made and the bruschetta was tasty. The main courses of lamb and ratatouille and steak with Japanese vegetables were very good. The service was very friendly... More

Fantastic veggie brekkie in lovely deli opposite the Travelodge. Freshly cooked to order with quality ingredients, hot & tasty. Great service & ambience. Normally keen to try lots of new places, once we tried this, we went both mornings of our stay. We are staying @ the Travelodge again on next week & I'm looking forward to my breakfast already!... Have visited the deli in the past but not eaten here. Tried once for lunch but the wait was too long as had not booked and it is obviously very popular. So advice would be always book. Having booked, had lunch there today. What a treat - it was very busy but the service was impeccable - thanks, Debbie. The... More

Had a quick break in Liverpool over a weekend and stayed at the travel lodge, didn't fancy a box of their cardboard cereal so great to find the place just next door, thought it was a shop to start with but then noticed diners. All had a great breakfast - mainly the cooked and no complaints from anyone, service was... More
