Delifonseca Dockside is both a restaurant and an extensive delicatessen that incorporates a butchers, green grocers and wine merchants. As a party of 7 family and friends we were treated with kindness and good humour by a very knowledgeable waiter. The food was of a very high standard and all of us were delighted with our menu choices. The gumbo... More

Just been for the second visit to this lovely restaurant/deli. The food was so obviously freshly made and extremely tasty. I had persian lamb casserole which was absolutely gorgeous and my partner had chicken, also really good. The pate for starters was on the best crispy bread Ive tasted. Have visited Delifonseca Dockside to eat in the restaurant and shop in the deli. The restaurant has a good selection of great food served by some of the happiest and most knowlegeable staff I have encountered. Likewise the deli has an enormous range of specialist, high quality food and beverages - I especially liked the locally brewed beers.

Lovely Mersey walk along the Otterspool promenade into Liverpool (approx 10 miles round trip).Stopped in Delifonseca on the way back. It was a Friday lunchtime and very busy but a nice table was available. We shared the Deli Dip platter and Welsh Rarebit with chunky chips washed down by a bottle of their own beer and a zesty Sauvignon Blanc.Everything was... Eaten here regularly for several years now and never had a bad experience - food always fresh and often quite innovative. Service very good, and excellent range of local beer and good wine choice - from deli as well as wine list. We are devoted diners!

Celebrated hubbie's birthday here. Food and service faultless. This will definitely be a regular venue for both us. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to our friends
