It was very quiet when I visited which may partly explain the lack of any sort of atmosphere.

Had the Atlantic afternoon tea and this was really disappointing. The scones were tiny and were given with squirts cream not clotted . Cakes tiny , the macaroon was lovely but we both left still hungry . The service was awful, had to go u and ask for milk and napkins . At £15 a head , didn't feel this... More

Don't be fooled by the grand name dining room. This is little more than a cafe that is upstairs from the museum. The hours of opening indicate that it closes at 4.30 however what they fail to say is that they no longer serve food after 3.30. I really wish someone would have told us before we spent 15mins sat... We had a thoroughly delicious midweek lunch whilst enjoying the views - fish finger butties recommended ! The museum itself is well worth a visit and the restaurant is a good place to reflect and restore !

This place is on the fourth or fifth floor of maritime museum, it's on the Albert Dock... Giving a brilliant view of the dock, all it's boats and the Liverpool eye. Variety of food is not top notch but you can grab a decent meal. The view is worth the deal.

This is a wonderful place to sit and have a coffee and cake . the view is great because it's on th fourth floor and the room is light and airy. service is friendly . The cakes were among the biggest I've seen and tasted great. It's well worth a visit.

On a cold, windy day this was a perfect spot for a late lunch. The restaurant is situated on the top floor of the museum and has fabulous views over Albert Dock on one side and Pier Head on the other ( so you have to make a difficult choice of seating, or you can lounge on sofas in the... More

Whenever we are in The Albert Dock area of Liverpool this is our favourite place for lunch. Three of us - two had the Frittata and salad and one the soup and welsh rarebit. The food was lovely, we had wine (which was a very nice Chardonnay) and coffee and scones to finish. Food delicious, the scones absolutely huge served... More

My family ordered an Afternoon Tea for two, which I had admittedly wrongly assumed was for 2 people for the price of £12.50. While I understand that this was my mistake, I can’t get over my disappointment for what was sold to us as an Afternoon Tea for 2 for a total price of £25. We received 2 large tea... More
