We have recently just visited and to say it was a memorable experience for the right reasons would be a lie. The service was very slow and the amount of staff per table was more than adequate so there was no reason for this. I asked for some water with ice and they supplied a nifty metal jug for the... Went here before the 3 queens event in Liverpool I May 2015. We were lucky and got a table outside in the sun (which stayed out for majority of the time). Good choice of food and quality was fine. Drinks a bit pricey but you "pays your money" and we were more than happy with the whole package. Recommended.

Firstly refused option of a particular table in half empty restaurant due to a reservation. Table remained empty for 90 mins. Then slow service including no child menu offered for 8 year old daughter. Considering it was noon they were out of calamari and a fish platter. The second time in 2 visits. Left selecting again. Dirty glass and cutlery... More

We got what we were expecting - the atmosphere was lively and noisy, the staff were friendly and accommodating but the food was a bit of a let down. It just lacked something that made it special. The flavours let it all down - the kids starter looked like it had been sitting on the counter for a couple of... More

My partner and I used a voucher which enable we got 3 courses for £15 which I thought was fab, we were that full by dessert we had to ask if we could take them away! Excellent value for money, service was exemplary and our (Scottish I think?) waiter was superb, couldn't do enough for us! Will definitely be back... More

Made an online booking and the table was ready on arrival. Despite it being very busy, the service was fairly quick, but always professional and courteous. If I was being super picky, our meals arrived separately by about 5 minutes which was a little awkward but aside from that, the service was flawless. Would happily return, although maybe not at... Decided to give it another go, I came with my son in March and had a nice meal and then again in April with my friend and it wasn't so good. My husband and I came to try it again and the food was nice, had the garlic bread with mozzarella and balsamic onions and this is lovely I've had... More
