I've been a few times. Last couple if times not as good. The Parmesan scallops were overcooked & the breadcrumbs were burnt. The calamari was awful, small & the batter wasn't good either, as well as cold. With saying that the restaurant was very busy, it was about 3pm. Hasn't put me off, I'll try it one more time &... Two meals on consecutive nights. The best food I've had this decade. Plain grilled fish, butter and a wedge of lemon. Chips with aioli. Spinach with parmesan. Perfect oysters. Sweet crayfish. Tender scallops. Really good Sauvignon - and great staff. So much on offer in Liverpool is "Fusion" or Gastropub- these people just do great food

( instead of the usual flowers etc) We had the oysters first which we're very fresh . All had various starters,I had the garlic prawns which were beautifull followed by Sea Bass. The rest... More

AN unassuming unpretentious restaurant on the edge of China Town that serves fantastic fish. Passing by a lunchtime I couldn't resist the draw of oysters. Half a doz of large sweet oysters (from Dublin Bay) complete with a glass of good prosecco for a tenner - who can argue. A starter portion of spag a la vongole huge and excellent.Can't... More

Words are not worthy enough, quaint, homely, friendly and most important excellent food and service, and they certainly know how to prepare and cook the most delicious fish dishes. I had bruschetta marinara, followed by sea bass, beautifully cooked. My husband had sauté Did Maurizio as a starter a dish full of clams, mussels, cockles, fresh white fish parsley and... More

Came here on Friday night with my boyfriend, neither of us had eaten here before and we both loved it! Had garlic focaccia and olives to start which were both really nice, I had haddock and chips for my main and my boyfriend had coley and chips. The portions were huge and the fish was cooked perfectly, crispy batter and... More

Went here on route to a concert. Lovely ambience about the place. Fab service from waiters. Meal was gorgeous. We had club italian fish pasta. Also red house wine went down a treat. Didn't have time for pudding so will be returning soon to try this out! Doesn't look anything from outside but it is a little gem of a... More

Let's start with deserts. I don't normally have a desert but the tiramisu is fantastic here. Same for the sister restaurant down the road, the Italian club. Went with my wife on a rare Saturday night out. Good sized portions, I will share a starter next time because I will be having desert. I had steak, delicious melt in the... More
