Such a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy your meal in! Staff were caring and their attitude was fab. The food in here is absolutely amazing! Can not go wrong with the food served. Cheap prices on a monday as its half price. Would recommend the buttery mash and the apple crumble, mouth watering! Will be visiting regularly thanks.

Out as a group of 8 (4 couples). Wanted somewhere for a nice bite to eat but nothing to fancy. decided on this restaurant as it had a menu that had a bit of everything on it. One meal (lasgane) was described as "disgusting" to the member of staff. It was over cooked, dry, had no cheese on it and tasted... More

Never had such rubbish put down to me before. The lasagna I ordered looked like it had been heated and reheated many times. It was dry without cheese on top but with plenty tomato purée all over the top of it. Needless yo say it was awful. I did tell the server that he was nice enough to take it... More

We went yesterday and had a meal. 2 adults and 2 kids. Well all I can say is that it was terrible, all the food was over cooked and dry and not even warm. Never again!

We have been to SnL a few times in Chester and have always enjoyed the food, but not at this restaurant. The food was dry, my daughters ribs were cold so they took them back and REHEATED them again, third time cooking is not good practise, maybe a call to the local EHO depart is needed this would contradict there... Nice lively place, friendly staff and tasty food. Reasonably priced, 2 cocktails a large shared starter plus 2 mains for £36. Lots of different meal offers for each day. There is loud music on but you can sit further back where it's not so intrusive.

Just visited here on a Monday all food is 50% off so 2 drinks each a starter each and a main each was only £26. Lovely food cannot fault at all, nice sized portions too. Service great all staff polite and fast at serving.

Very noisy meeting place and great bar atmosphere but as a restaurant it was terrible. The food was slow. Why only take orders for starters and then when starters are finished take orders for main meals? Can only think it is a way to get customers to order more drinks! We ordered steak and it was atrocious. Sent it back... More
