Excellent breakfast

A couple of months ago, I came here and was very disappointment with my breakfast, I wrote to the manager and was kindly offered a free breakfast for myself and my partner, we went this morning. I must admit when I sat down I did tell the waitress that it was a free breakfast and to make sure this... read more

Having previously been disappointed by the service we received at the slug and lettuce, my friend and I decided to try again this week whilst visiting liverpool. We came in for lunch on Tuesday and were surprised by how much it had improved. The man who served us (Jack) was very friendly, polite and sexy. The food was delicious, fresh... More

booked & went for a dinner here but would not re-visit. This place could not decide whether it was a restaurant a bar or a night club. It was the Sunday before the May bank holiday but the bar was very full with loud music where we had to wait for our table despite booking. The food was below average... More

Not one to write a bad review! But feel the need to tell everyone about the appalling service here! Today I went for a casual drink with a friend and was told I couldn't sit on a table set for 4 so had to move to a table of 2 to then have just ordered my drink and as it... More

Been here loads of times always pleased. Not this time!!! Service was awful, food was abysmal. Firstly we ordered cocktails, ran out of the two find they needed to make them, no apologies, just got gin n tonics, one with a fly! When we pointed this out, the rude barman asked if we wanted another one!!!! Of course we do!!!!!... More

Had a fantastic meal at slug & lettuce yesterday, bank holiday Monday for joint mother & daughter birthday. Brilliant customer service and food considering how busy it was with the three queens being in liverpool. Big thank you to Jackie. Sharing platters are amazing so much food and really good quality. Would highly recommend for a meal or just cocktails

Called in to the Slug and Lettuce (Liverpool) on Bank Holiday Monday before heading to see the Three Queens event on the waterfront. Website advertised a 9am opening but was still closed due to cleaning. However, a member of staff popped out to speak to us and allowed us to sit in and wait. Even though they were not technically... I visited here with my family this morning and was welcomed by the staff who looked after us, the food was very nicely cooked and was brought out quickly, a great place to visit, I will be back

We chose here as the slug and lettuce in Manchester was so good and so expected the same. It was not. There was no atmosphere, the music was deafening and my feet stuck to the floor. The menu didn't seem as good as before but I chose a wrap. It was reasonably expensive at £6.95. When it arrived it consisted... More

Used to think this was quite an elite place to eat ,now it looks a bit of a dive.... Outside are not kept clean, cigarette butts everywhere. Not for me anymore.
