As Japanese restaurants go this is by far the best!!! Don't be tempted to try the better known teppanayaki place. We had the sushi and sashimi platter to share as a starter and it was incredibly prepared, presented and was as fresh as you can get! Our service was brilliant and extremely knowledgable about the menu and was able to... More

I like this place, I assume it's authentic as it had a majority Japanese customer base when I visited. Certainly the food was good, the seared tuna with sticky rice was the best tuna I have ever eaten. There is some outdoor seating as well if you get good weather.

We went as a group of three friends on a Liverpool night out. We got a table on a Saturday night at 8.30pm with only a few hours advance booking, which was great as they squeezed us in. The staff were friendly and genuine, and the atmosphere was lively and buzzy. We ate a miso soup starter, then I had... More

Like most people, had 'Bento box': meat, rice, salad. Good mix of tastes and not too heavy for lunch. Service prompt and unobstrusive.

We were well pleased when we dined here on our last visit to Liverpool and the return visit in April was just as good. I had the Niku Gyoza appetizer (pork and vegetable dumplings) and the Sake (Scottish salmon filet) and Dana had the Maguro (fresh sashimi tuna), and all were delicious. I had Baileys Cheese Cake for desert -... More

I worked in Liverpool for 9 months and ate here once a week for that whole period so I know it very well! The menus offer fantastic variety - every dish is delicious with all food freshly prepared with good quality ingredients. This is a small unpretentious restaurant so not ideal if you want something 'grand', but you couldn't do... More

Tiny restaurant with a middle-sized menu on offer. Try the sushi/sashimi mixed plate - it's delicious. I wish I'd been a bit more adventurous and tried the Japanese curries - maybe I will when I go back to Liverpool. Very nice place.

Visited on a saturday night, we arrived late which wasn't a problem at all. Seated quickly and tables are quite private which is great. Staff are lovely, really friendly and happy to provide you with their expert opinion! The food was beautiful, tempura prawns especially. Found the prices very reasonable £120 for 3 courses (3 starters between 2, and a... More
