Housed in the centre of Liverpool, close to both Lime Street station and the Clayton Square Shopping Centre, Bella Italia is favoured by many. The Bella Italia restaurant group has certainly combined all the right ingredients to create a successful brand, with branches popping up consistently all over the country. Warm, stylish yet rustic style interiors are the trademark design of Bella Italia and this Liverpool outlet stays faithful to the style. The menu features well cooked, traditional Italian recipes such as beef and pork meatballs in tomato sauce atop a bed of spaghetti or chargrilled chicken breast with roasted veg and new potatoes. Bella Italia is great for families, couples and groups of friends alike and is open from breakfast through to lunch and dinner.

Varied Quality and Quite Expensive

As others have commented - the first thing we were told when receiving the menu is what is not available on starter and main menu. We ordered Bruschetta which arrived burned and lacking in olive oil - very dry. The Chunky Chips cost £3.25 and were small in number. The pizza was okay and the... read more

We needed somewhere to eat pre-theatre, and having received an e-mail offer of two courses for £12.95 over the Bank holiday weekend we opted fpr Bella Italia; our first mistake. When we asked for the £12.95 set menu we were told by the waiter that this was not available as it was a bank holiday weekend. We pointed out that... More

Visited on Wednesday evening, with the restaurant being quite busy. We were meet at the desk and taken to the table by a friendly waitress. Drinks and food orders were taken efficiently and all the waiting staff we came into contact with were all very friendly. The issue with this restaurant is the food. The carne calzone was OK but... The restaurant is close to the shops and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We booked a table for 7pm and although the restaurant was full there was still a lot of privacy at the table. The menu was varied and had a lot of interesting and delicious sounding meals to choose from and cost under £50 for two 3 course... More

Explicit service. Mark was out of this world sat down an had a genuine conversation with our family. So nice to see a server who genuinely cares. Had a bond with my daughter asked her name and made everything about her which left us to enjoy our time

We had phoned and pre booked table for 17 people. We were informed that they would be able to accommodate us if we arrived at 8 o'clock for 8:30pm sitting. We were shown to our upstairs table on arrival and asked for our drink order. Our food order had not been taken by 9pm so numerous members of our group... More
