Puschka opened in an old Georgian town house at 16 Rodney Street on the edge of Liverpool's Georgian quarter in 2001 and is one of only a handful of independent restaurants in the city. “With its cosy cushions and wonderful food & service, this funky bohemian restaurant is the kind of place that you do not want to leave”. Wonderful in every way

Can't fault the visit. Went with six friends for a birthday meal. All been before and never disappointed. I had the veggie starter and the main. What I will say is that it's a pleasure to eat a veggie meal that's obviously been thought about and not given a standard soup and stuffed pepper. In fact... read more

This Restaurant has good reviews....I cannot think why. The service is appaling slow and arrogant , the tables too close in order to make a quicker buck, the food when it finally arrives is mediocre at best , our main arrived after a two hour wait and was not as ordered. Just don't go there

As a previous patron of Puschka, we were bitterly disappointed with our most recent visit. To start with there appeared to be more staff than people eating. The wait between courses was shocking and three out of four main course meals were extremely poor quality, with the fourth being burnt and returned to the kitchen. This meal should never have... Went for a business dinner to this restaurant. It is not very big but has a cramped feel with the tAbles feeling very close together. The starter of ham hock terrine was okay but nothing special. The lamb for the main course, when it eventually arrived was not very good at all. Not very tender and not a great flavour... More

Food was good, nothing exceptional but a very good standard of cooking overall. Service was very good, very friendly but a bit slow. Good ambience. The deserts really stood out. Would definitely recommend for a decent eating out experience but only if you have plenty of time-we were going on to the theatre and although they do a pre-theatre menu... More

Had the three course special here on Saturday 28th February. Excellent value for Money, well presented and really tasty food. Only a small restaurant, nice relaxed atmosphere. The only downfall was that we felt that waitresses could improve on their customer service approach. When you are ordering you expect to have their full attention, but this was not the case,... Went for a meal last night for my partners birthday. Thought the entrance to the establishment was a little strange. Didn't get welcomed in and had to squeeze my way to the bar whereby we awkwardly hung around some poor couple as they eat, whilst waiting for our table to be ready. Not their fault as such, it's just the... More

This has been my favourite restaurant in Liverpool for over 12 years and keeps blowing me away every time! I haven't been for maybe 6 months but new to TA I gave to extol the virtues of everything that Puschka does, from food, service, staff and ambiance. My experiences are my own and you will have yours, these guys know... More

Visited this restaurant again last night after a few years and I cannot begin to explain how amazing the food is. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and we couldn't have asked for a more special meal. The waitress was so helpful and informative, she helped us choose a scrumptious bottle of red wine which accompanied our delicious... More
