I have never had a bad experience in this restaurant, it is one of my faves. Always clean and staff always friendly. the food is home cooked and freshly prepared and you can tell. If you haven't eaten here you must go. It is definitely one of Lincolns finest.

We had lunch at this busy and bustling cafe on Saturday afternoon. The staff were polite, helpful with cheese choices and enthusiastic in their work. We shared a four cheese platter and our choices proved to be delicious. So much so that we left the cafe and headed around the corner to the society's deli cheese shop. If you have... More

Came here with friends on a Saturday lunchtime. It was really busy but we only had to wait a few minutes for a table and the staff were really helpful and friendly as soon as we walked in the door. One of my friends is coeliac and there were loads of gluten free choices and they even bake their own... More

A three course Bistro night turned out to be not only great value for money but also very good food. A taster of Cheese Stuffed Pepperdew Peppersand a glass of Berry Bros Champagne set the scene for a great evening. Mini baked cheese soufflé was a bit flat but tasty nonetheless and a really good cheesy flavour ( what else... More

If you enjoy your cheese, there is no alternative - just explore and discover all sorts of tastes! I'd definitely keep to the cheese options though as this is what makes the place special! Don't forget to explore in the shop too!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Just fabulous. As you may expect, it's all about the cheese. Don't go if you don't like it! This time my dining companion and I had souffle in cheese sauce, well more of a delicioius gooey soup really. Amazing. A portion of skinny fries is enough to share and you always get plenty of... My husband and I visited today for the first time, after promising my husband (a self confessed cheeseaholic) for some time that we would go for lunch! After musing over the menu and specials board for some time he had the gnocchi and I had the baked camembert topped parma ham both dishes were lovely. Any cheese based meal can... More

The success of this restaurant will continue to grow from the quality of food received during our visit. From start to finish it was a pleasure to receive service to a level that will only enhance the popularity of this special restaurant. The food and level of specialist cheese knowledge from the staff were all above standard and whilst service... More

We had a lunch to remember. Beautiful food and excellent service. Only downside was the tables and chairs were fairly close together so a little cramped. Received free taster cheeses whilst waiting for our lunch. A visit is a must if you are in Lincoln.
