We had lunch at this pub when we arrived at Lincoln and were not disappointed. We had belly pork with black pudding which was served in an unusual way on a bed of mash, accompanied by a dish of fresh veg. It was delicious. The pub was very busy, and all the meals looked very good.

Three course Sunday lunch with a voucher (bargain), it was so worth it! Salmon starter, roast beef, delicious stuffing and Yorkshire pud, with fresh veg. Lemon posset and summer fruits to follow. The deal involved a house glass of wine.

This is a cosy little coffee house/pub/restaurant just at the start of steep hill (before it gets steep) from one side is a bright and welcoming little stop for lunch or coffee, the other side is a pub and upstairs the restaurant. Great service was to be found and the food was typical English gastropub cuisine. Really well made food,... More

The food was good, the staff average and the building though quirky and interesting clearly in need of TLC!

We were pleasantly surprised that the food in such a big place was as good as we found it. The service was quick and the quality of the food was good and very affordable. In addition the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure that we had all we needed. The food was nice and hot which... More

11 of us including 2 young children had a meal in a private room for my cousins birthday. The food and service was good. We were tucked away so could have been easily forgotten but we weren't. Good children's menu.
