Food was good, some dishes better than others, not were over chili, except I ate the chilli in the soup and that was hot, we really enjoyed our meal and although packed, they fixed us in and served us ok.

We walked off the street and were lucky enough to get a table. After a short time the restaurant was full. We had pad Thai which was very enjoyable.. We enjoyed our food and would go back.

Been here a few times and always a fabulous experience. The quality of the food and service make this restaurant one of my favourites in Lincoln.

Lucky to walk in and get a table for 2 so book if possible, food and service was excellent, we were sat close to the rear which did get very warm otherwise well worth a visit.

This restaurant was as good as it ever is. We stopped by for lunch around 13.00. Both of us opted for Thung Thong starters which were excellent and Gaeng Kiew Waan for main. The curry was excellent in every way and could not be faulted. We enjoyed coconut pancakes, served with ice-cream for dessert and really enjoyed that treat. Two... More

We decided to go for the set menu as neither of us could decide what to order. Neither of us were disappointed as we got to try many dishes. The food, presentation and service was exceptional. We will return for sure.

Looking for somewhere to eat in Lincoln we passed several busy places before looking in the Thailand No1. We have never eaten Thai but heard so many good reports so we decided to take the plunge. The welcome we got was wonderful, staff dressed tastefully in Thai style clothing and all eager to advise. We chose Satay Gai & Goong... More

Opted for a set meal but the waiter was more than happy to swap dishes around, nice flavours and a great chilli kick from a couple of dishes. I asked for a jug of water and was slightly disheartened when they brought a couple of glasses but I needn't have been as the glass was never allowed to empty. There... More

The older woman iwas clearly in charge but her manner was rather cool. The younger, supporting staff were fine, including their new recruit. The food was a little disappointing overall, with the duck dish lacking in supporting vegetables, contrary to the waitress's previous confirmation. The sweet and sour chicken, on the other hand, was fine. I like restaurants where a... More

I can never resist ordering mock duck when it’s on the menu in a Thai restaurant. I can thoroughly recommend this dish (Pad Khi Mao) at Thailand No 1. Don’t be put off by the triple chilli marks on the menu – a very hot Thai dish is equivalent to a mild one in an Indian restaurant! It was a... More
