We were staying in Lincoln one night on our way home from the north. We always look for a Thai restaurant and were pleased to find Thailand Number One. We turned up without a reservation at 18:45 and being mid December they were already quite busy with pre-Christmas parties.. Nevertheless they found us a table. The service was efficient and... Went last night with my hubby while on a break here for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant looks very nice and the staff were attentive and polite. Food was quickly served and nice. We had the set banquet. I feel it was a little over priced for what it was and the portions were quite small. Overall nice place with... More

We have eaten at Thai Number one several times and always found the food to be very good and reasonably priced. The Christmas menu offered some new dishes which were full of flavour and authentic.

We have eaten lunch here a number of times over the years and the place remains constant - you know exactly what you will get! The fixed price menu is good value and is tasty and well presented, if rather predictable. Staff are attentive and the service quick. A good place for lunch.

Had the Pad Kra Pow (Beef with basil & peppers) and it was probably the worst I have ever had. When getting Thai the Kra Pow tends to be my go to dish. It looked right and smelled right, but the beef tasted as though it was about a week old. I had to throw it out. The staff was... More

A warm Thai welcome awaits you here, the conservatory in summer is great. The food is authentic and very tasty. The staff are friendly and efficient. The chef really knows his business. One dish you must try is fish in tamarind sauce, superb. Don't miss this little gem of a restaurant if you like Thai food.
