If you are disabled then you may struggle to get in this place, because it is on the first floor and the only way in is via the staircase. We were seated with a great view over the High Street looking through the plate glass window. Our waiter was great, but somewhat let down by the quality of the food.... More

Visited the restaurant on Saturday with my boyfriend. Our table was booked for 6.30pm and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Eventually two other parties arrived but that was it. We ordered the mixed platter starter but I was rather surprised to see German pepper coated salami slices and slices of pepperoni which had been described as 'Spanish... More

Myself and my wife ate here on 13 April with two other friends. W01522 540627hen we initially looked for the restaurant we struggled to find it as there seemed to be very little indication of the way up. At the base of the stairway is a takeaway which I think is also owned by the restaurant owner, the takeaway nearly... More

I stopped off at this place late February with my wife and absolutely loved it. The staff were very friendly and the food was out of this world. I would definitely advise everyone in Lincoln to go. A big well done to all who work there.

Went with my partner, her brother and Mum for a pre-theatre dinner on a Saturday evening. We were given the option of sitting in the window- which seemed like a good idea- however, the table was too big for the space, resulting in quite a cramped, but pretty view over the High Street (and into the Slug & Lettuce staff... Having dined with friends at Lincoln Tapas several months ago, it seemed appropriate that we should make a return-visit with different friends, on our recommendation. I called ahead to secure a table for four, and was told on the phone that we could be squeezed in. We arrived at the restaurant, again walking the 'taxi-cab-firm-esque' flight of stairs. We were... We went here due to it's rating on Tripadvisor. Yes it was a Saturday night, but no excuse for slow service. The manager seemed to be trying to run the place himself, which left long gaps between visits to the table. The tapas was uninspiring, and mainly tasteless. The manager said he had lived in Spain, however the food was... More

Although the exterior of this building reminds you a little of a sandwich shop, we were pleasantly surprised after walking up the stairs to the restaurant above the high street. We were a large party but were seated quickly, and the staff were very attentive. There was a large choice on the tapas menu, and the waiter was happy to... More

We visited here for an impromptu lunch having seen the good reviews on here. Entrance looks like a taxi firm and when we sat down the table was sticky and had crumbs on it. We ordered our drinks and our glass of wine had lipstick marks on it which was noticed by the waiter who replaced it but the red... More

Slight difficulty finding it (just called 'Tapas' no 'Lincoln' on the door, and accessed via an unremarkable entrance). We got there fairly early, about 1700 hours and the place was deserted. The waitress was friendly, though quite timid, and service was attentive (as it should be with no one else there). There was a fair choice of food, which was... More
