My wife and I were driving through the area last weekend and stopped for brunch in the café. The menu had a good choice and when the food came is was tasty, hot and well presented. The service was polite and efficient with plenty of smiling faces and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Prices may be considered by... More

We were hiking in the area on a Saturday afternoon and found this by googling the nearest café. The sight of the fruit and veg in the farm shop at the entrance was beautiful, the café and restaurant areas were very busy (last weekend of the sculpture exhibition) but the efficient staff were managing well. We had a lovely tea... More

Superbe Cafe and Restaurant in a great Farm Shop in the beautiful village of Doddington. Well worth a visit. Great high quality ingredients used and super staff. Always a pleasure. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main restaurant. Try the Smoked chipolatas with onion chutney and potato salad. It rocks.

I visited Doddington Sculpture exhibition which was excellent and very interesting - well worth visiting with good access as i need to use a walker. I found my way to the café and was shown to my table - again good access for walkers/wheelchairs. Courtesy and consideration was given and my order taken at the table so i did not... More

Visited here after seeing the fantastic sculpture exhibition in the grounds of the hall. The cafe was VERY busy, but there was a maitre d' organising tables as they came free, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. There was a separate comprehensive menu for coeliacs, and I had an extremely tasty tuna mayo mix on baked potato, followed by a... More

Visited here today for some lunch with my partner and baby boy. It was busy but it took 25mins for a cheese sandwich as part of the meal deal. Which in reflection wasn't really a deal as a very dry sandwich (which I couldn't finish) and crisps wasn't really worth the £5.70. Maybe if the drink was included. Plus my... More

Last night 6 of us celebrated a Birthday with fish and chips at the Doddington Hall Restaurant. It was Friday so the emphasis was on fish and chips. We made a prior reservation and were not disappointed. We started with crab followed by cod, chips and peas. The food was excellent and the wine although rather expensive was very nice.... More

My wife and I visited the Hall last week and had a meal in the restaurant. The menu had an excellent choice and when the food came is was well presented and was very good indeed. We returned later for a piece of cake and another cup of tea and enjoyed both very much indeed. The service from the staff... More

Went here for lunch with my wife and really enjoyed the experience. We ate in the cafe which was tastefully decorated to match the halls surroundings. There was good menu choice and I went for the ploughmans while my wife had the goats cheese tart. The portions were really good and you got your monies worth. The only thing wrong... More

I love going to Doddington Hall Cafe as they always have an excellent range of naughty cakes, Scones and drinks, Fish and chips are very good. My only complaint is sometimes I order a meal deal when short on time which includes a Filled Roll, a packet of piper Crisps and coleslaw all for £5.50 which is ok but the... More
