The two of us dropped in for lunch and were given a very warm welcome. The menu was varied and it was difficult to choose what to eat. My wife had the sea bass which she enjoyed very much. I had the open beef Wellington and have to say it was possibly the best I've had. Will definitely be going... More

Superb value for early bird menu, from 6pm to 7pm. The main menu is a good quality pub offer. You get a warm welcome, pub atmosphere and good value. Less than half mile from A17 so well worth a visit if passing from A1 towards Fens or ViceVersa.

We always come back... More

If you like Pheasant or Partridge, then these were just two of the items on the specials board that we tried. The Generous Briton provides a warm and inviting atmosphere with an open fire to help. The starter and main menus are varied and interesting and the food we ordered was prepared to perfection, with delicious desserts to follow. Extremely... More
