We visited here recently on the way back from the other side of Lincoln and were very impressed with the service, the quality of the food and the value. While there, the staff also dealt with a medical emergency on the part of one of the other diners with speed and discretion. I will definitely make a detour to eat... More

I know everything is cooked to order, but having to wait some 15 mins for six scallops was just a bit to much.

This fish and chip shop didn't get an award for no reason!! The food is gorgeous and the service cannot be faulted! The staff are all very friendly and chatty which is rare these days!!! We've had fish and chips from here a few times and are never disappointed!! :-D

Everything about this restaurant and its food was very good, but somehow never quite reached the height of greatness. Nice fresh haddock, light batter and maris piper chips ensured all of the ingredients were there, but the batter could have been beer batter and tastier, the chips more crunchy and less pale. We visited yesterday evening after a day at Market Rasen races. What a wonderful place, service, tea and food were all absolutely delicious. Relieved we live so far away or else we would be tempted to visit too often. Will definitely return when we are in the area again.

They never have enough chips ready and thus you have to wait in the queue for an age! It's the closest chippie to us and we go elsewhere as it's just not very good and very very very expensive

This is a restaurant attached to a Fish and chip shop. The decoration, atmosphere, toilets, clenliness, service etc were all excellent. Prices are a little excessive though, reflecting its 'Modern Image Branding', eg furniture, paint colours, wine and beer available etc. Tea for the price asked, should have been served in a pot for one, with extra hot water, not... Cheery welcome by Haley starts off the visit. Excellent food 'best chips' award fairly earned. the endless supply of tea is much appreciated. I think we were there for 2 hours last time!

Don't be put off if you see a queue as it moves fast and the food is cooked fresh so it is worth it at the end.The ordering system as you go in is good so by the time you pay it's all wrapped and ready. Restaurant service is always pleasurable food always great servers polite and friendly. All round... More
