We only got a take away this time but it was some of the best fish and chips we have ever had. It was a long wait (it was Friday evening!) but you had to shout what fish you wanted as you got in the door so that it was freshly cooked by the time you came to pay. They... More

I regularly used to visit this chip shop as without a doubt it was the best in lincoln . It's always had its faults like the fact that you wait on average 20 minutes for your food, but that's ok a busy chippy means a good one. The fact that your nearly tripping over a big sign that says "... More

We had fish, chips and scollops from the takeaway. Firstly service was so slow even though only three people in the shop. We got our chips and drove down to the park. Mistake as within two minutes it was cold and tasteless. We asked for salt and vinegar but couldn't taste any. How this place has won awards I don't know.

Service and food were amazing. The fish was superbly cooked and the chips are the best I've had for a long time. Fully recommend the take away from this establishment. Thank you.

Visited the restaurant last Friday, very busy take away side, and in the restaurant. We both ordered The Cod meal, was a bit surprised the small portions we were served, the meal had no seasoning in it,even the batter on the Cod.After the fish is cooked you cannot add seasoning after its cooked.May be we went on a bad night,we will try again?

Usually a fantastic "chippy" ...Not been for about 6 months but after a long day at work followed by a lecture on tax and rugby training we thought we would treat ourselves. The Fish was wet limp and tasteless, the curry sauce tasted as if it had been watered down. The Chips were thankk goodness fabulous hot and crispy. Come... More

There are a hundred reasons why this is one of the top 5 chip shops in the UK! Upon walking into the restaurant, I was impressed by the freshness and cleanliness of the interior. the take-away was packed but there were only two occupied tables in the restaurant when I arrived. One of the staff welcomed us in, and said... More

We go,usually at lunchtime fairly regularly and the food, staff and atmostphere is always first class.I am not surprised they have won the award again.I am surprised that the people who leave disappointed don't say anything to the staff and owners when they eventually leave. If the owners don't know what has occurred they can't do anything about it to prevent... More
