Great Choice

We've visited twice and have been thoroughly pleased with our meal on both occasions. I like the fact that you can have your fish cooked how you want it and I've gone for the grilled version both times. I've had haddock and sea bass with chips and garden peas... the chips are thick cut and cooked... read more

I fancied a Chippy and heard a lot about this place therefore as we recently moved closer decided to give it a try. We didn't stay in the restaurant as we didn't realise until we got there that they even had one therefore got ours to enjoy at home. I had some traditional fish and chips which was perfect but... Experienced the Thursday night takeaway service. My order was taken as soon as I entered the door and then we joined the line which moved quickly to pay . this was my first ever visit as I was lamenting to someone that the seafood in the Caribbean tastes so much better than 'fish and chips' and I had yet in... This Chippy is apparently award winning and when one has walked half a mile from the Centre of Lincoln to try its wares one is encouraged by the airy restaurant next to the traditional take-away. We had haddock, and were told which trawler had landed the fish and which farm produced the potatoes. Batter was great but sadly the fish... More

We had heard good things about this fish and chip shop...and they were not wrong! We had our first take away fish and chips as a friday treat after moving to the area the other month. The fish shop was very clean and the fish was cooked fresh to order as soon as you walk through the door, and you... More

Served with a wedge of lemon, an information board to tell you where your potatoes were farmed & your fish caught, along with customer service from people who care, what more do you want?!

Came here after work for something to eat on our way home. The Restuarant is separate to the takeaway which is good. The Restuarant is really nice, open and clean. The lady who served us was friendly and attentive. The food was beautiful. Unlike some other chip shops here the food is ethically sourced and freshly cooked to order. The... More

Though we live close to an excellent take-away "chippy", we were recently in Lincoln late and decided to try this restaurant as we'd heard many good comments about it. Both waitresses were excellent and worked very well as a team with the fryers. The airy room was spotless, as were the tables, and when not serving, one waitress was actually... More
