Enjoyable Sunday Lunch.

We were very fortunate to be given some Macy's vouchers as a gift for Christmas. We have been to Macy's many times and have always enjoyed the food and overall ambiance of the restaurant. Today we booked for Sunday Lunch. We were greeted by a very cheerful Heidi and was promptly taken to our table... read more

We went on Saturday night and had their 5 course testing menu and it was excellent. They were so obliging as there was one course my partner and I didn't like and they said that was not a problem and they gave us other options to choose from. This was not our first visit and yet again we were not... More

My better half has just taken me to Macy's for my birthday treat. Wow it was superb. Throughly recommend a visit. I had the Smoked Haddock Souffle followed by the Baked Cod on Lemon Mash with Sanfire. It was touch and go wether I had a sweet, it was a struggle but i managed it, plus half of Sue's Cheese... Visited on Friday 17th March 2015. We were the only 4 in the restaurant all evening.. My starter of soufflé was sent back as it resembled more a dried out dumpling and was inedible. A replacement was suggested and was duly eaten but more from hunger than choice. The belly pork main was passable but the fish dishes were well... More

We booked this restaurant on the basis of good reviews we'd read. How wrong we were. Possibly the worst restaurant experience I have ever endured. The teenage staff seem to have been dragged off the street with no training - not their fault I know. No knowledge of the menu, didn't bother to light the candle on our table, and... More

Dear Madam I find it very strange that you have put a review on trip advisor 9 months after you visited us. We have never and I repeat never kept anyone waiting 2 hours between courses and our front of house and kitchen staff are all trained to a high standard as you can see from our other reviews. Felicity... More

Bought afternoon tea for two via a groupon coupon plus proschecco. It was served slightly differently to previous afternoon teas I have had and at first there seemed to be small amounts. However, after dainty sandwiches and cakes and scones, jam and cream was comfortably full - although perhaps not enough for my husband! There was also a pot of... More

I travel all over the country with my job and one of my few pleasures in life is eating great food and therefore look up the best places to eat in the area I'm visiting and after extensive research - this place kept popping up on the radar !! It is a"Hidden Gem!!!!" Whenever I know I'm in the area... More

Had bought a tasting menu from a discount site as it seemed a good idea. On arrival only 4 people eating, nice dining area seemed ok. Sat down and were told no pate available as run out!!!. Soup was celeriac and mustard. Warm no real taste. Then substitute for pate was cheese souffle. It was like a dumpling, it should... More

We had booked an afternoon tea and it was surprisingly filling, tiny assorted sandwiches, little cakes and scones with jam & cream. The waitress was brilliant.
