Enjoyable Sunday Lunch.

We were very fortunate to be given some Macy's vouchers as a gift for Christmas. We have been to Macy's many times and have always enjoyed the food and overall ambiance of the restaurant. Today we booked for Sunday Lunch. We were greeted by a very cheerful Heidi and was promptly taken to our table... read more

Every single course, from the soup to the dessert - Elderflower pannacotta with gooseberry compote and sorbet -was to die for! We paid an extra £5 for the beef and oysters main dish. We have never eaten oysters before and they were delicious - creamy but tasting of the sea. I have recently been to the Wig and Mitre and... More

Macy's is great. You can people watch out of the window whilst picking off of their ever changing menu. Lovely locally sourced produce, cooked by the friendly fluffy haired chef, Ben, who is always keen to speak to you after your meal. About the only place in lincoln to serve samphire and a decent glass of False Bay - worth... More

Took my mum yesterday for an afternoon tea at Macy's Brasserie and what a lovely treat it turned out to be. I can't understand the reviews complaining there was not enough to eat, we both were very satisfied with portions, quality and choice. The staff were excellent and very attentive. My mum was asking when can we come back again!

Myself, mum and daughter went for afternoon tea and what an utter disappointment! Firstly we were told where to sit, which was in a corner opposite the till. Once seated we were then served the most pathetic sandwiches I have ever seen, which may I add were not fresh. After we had eaten said sandwiches a plate of so called... More

We went to Macys with 2 friends who had eaten there before and had been suggesting we went for some while. We booked a table and when we asked for it at 19:00 and we were told they could do 19:15, which we agreed to, not sure why they couldn't do19:00 We arrived at about 19:00 and were surprised to... My daughter bought afternoon tea at Macy's on a groupon deal and we went one Saturday afternoon. The surroundings and staff were pleasant but the afternoon tea was a disappointment. The sandwiches arrived and were small rectangles of bread with of course the crusts removed. Two ladies sat on a table next to us and looked across to see what... More

Visited Macy's Brasserie on Saturday as part of a large family group. There were about 15 of us and Macy's seated us with ease. The staff were very welcoming and flexible regarding the menu. The food was delightful.I had the sea bass with roasted vegetables, which was cooked to perfection.Others had belly pork, tagliatelle with chicken, salmon, all fabulous.A big thank you to all at Macy's.

We went on Saturday night and had their 5 course testing menu and it was excellent. They were so obliging as there was one course my partner and I didn't like and they said that was not a problem and they gave us other options to choose from. This was not our first visit and yet again we were not... More

My better half has just taken me to Macy's for my birthday treat. Wow it was superb. Throughly recommend a visit. I had the Smoked Haddock Souffle followed by the Baked Cod on Lemon Mash with Sanfire. It was touch and go wether I had a sweet, it was a struggle but i managed it, plus half of Sue's Cheese...
