We visited this restaurant in April of this year and subsequently wrote a glowing review on Trip Advisor. This review will not be glowing or complimentary. Again we visited courtesy of Groupon on a two course deal, allegedly al a carte. We arrived on time to find all of the staff different from our previous visit. Attention to detail was... More

We hosted a surprise luncheon for my in-laws golden wedding at Macy's. Everyone agreed how fantastic it was. Attentive helpful service, beautifully dressed table and delicious food. Many thanks 😄

From the food to the decor to the service, every element was a phenomenon. As a fairly thick man I prefer my portions large, so when my wife told me we'd be having the tasting menu I braced myself for small servings, but after amuse bouche, soup, a fish course, a main, dessert and a cheese course I was defeated,... Came here for a birthday breakfast, never been to navenby before. The village is lovely, very quiet and picturesque. The cafe is set in a perfect location and easy to find. The inside is decorated beautifully, I am a fab of shabby chic so it was right up my street. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff were friendly... More

My wife and I had a 5 course taster menu, a deal with Groupon but that's beside the point. All I can say is that this was one of the most tasty, well presented and wonderfull meals we have ever had! Can't praise it enough! There is nothing more to say, back there again soon, very soon!

We visited here for the five course taster menu with a £45pp Groupon voucher. To start the Amuse Bouche was a tiny pizza - ok but not a lot of taste. The herb bread was warm and the butter served was at the right consistency - I hate it when restaurants serve butter too cold to spread. The nettle and... More

We have visited before - review with brasserie exactly what it is. This time however was a disaster!! Ordered the chicken mushroom and tagliatelle main. I got a huge plate of plain pasta, overcooked dry and tasteless chicken on top and a dollop of white sauce with no seasoning, flavour or substance. 3 dry mushrooms sat ontop of it all.... More

We visited Macys for Sunday lunch with friends. Having eaten there previously, we were happy to suggest eating there again. We we're seated at a table by the window, which was really pleasant. The restaurant offers a 2 or 3 course set-price Sunday lunch menu. Items can also be individually ordered. We opted for just a main course - roast... More

We tried the 5 course tasting menu, having heard some good reports of Macys, and we were not disappointed. From the friendly greeting as we entered, to the kindness of the waitress who ran down the road on a very cool evening with a scarf my wife had left behind just as were about to drive off, we were impressed...
