Good food

After leaving Lincoln Cathedral graduation ceremony we were looking for somewhere that served full meals and came across this restaurant, and it turned out to be a good choice. There were five of us and they manged to seat us. The manager, I believe it was, who was very pleasant and helpful, took... read more

Arrived to what appeared to be a staff free venue. Couldn't spot a member of staff other than a chef popping his head out the kitchen door, clearly looking for someone to take food or for some form of assistance. Have visited previously in the week and thoroughly enjoyed everything. But the 50% off food on Mondays is clearly not... More

Polite staff, waited a bit at the bar for drinks (but when you're ordering cocktails you don't expect them to be ready in the same time as it would take pouring a pint). 2 for 1 on all cocktails which was fab as there is a large range and they tasted great. Ordered food which came out quick and piping... More

Went on Sunday night for a meal, the place was quiet but still nice atmosphere. Menu offers a good selection of food. Enjoyed the food having chicken and wedges with pepper and red onion in a white wine sauce.

Shaun and his staff could not have been helpful or accommodating, we were a larger party of 9 and they moved tables around to fit us in during a fairly busy Saturday lunchtime. The food was lovely and they also produced a bottle of prosecco with strawberry liquor and a firework on the house, which was much appreciated!

4 members plus myself visited this restaurant just after christmas, it was lunchtime and we were all needing a refuel before hitting the shops again. We walked inside and the first thing i noticed were the state of the vacant tables, they were full of dirty plates piled up, we found a table and it looked like it had been... More

I really enjoyed the butternut squash lasagne even though these things are always microwaved and not fresh, and the sharing portion of sweet potato fries was HUGE!! even for 2 people to share. I had a virgin mojito which was really nice but waitress was not very interested and seemed annoyed when I asked her for a glass of tap... More

Went to this bar/restaurant on 14 December 2015 for a drink and a meal. The bar staff were not altogether pleasant when we ordered our drinks and then I went upstairs to use the mens toilet to find that the floor was almost totally flooded with urine and water from a leaking urinal. There was an overflowing mop bucket under... More

We were visiting the Xmas market and although there were plenty of food stalls, we wanted to find somewhere to sit down that was child friendly and 'not' McDonalds. We entered and it was busy but we were quickly seated, the kid given an Xmas hat, crayons and a menu (and later a balloon too!). Really impressed with the service,... More

We stayed in the nearby excellent premier inn and went in slug and lettuce on what was a quiet Sunday evening. All 3 hand pulled beers where off which was a major disappointment but undeterred I ordered a Guinness. We went for a nice table by the window but staff stopped us telling me it was "Reserved". It turned out... More
