Fantastic food!!!

Came here on Saturday night with another couple and had the most amazing food. To start I ordered the goat cheese and beetroot done 4 ways - lovely, followed by beef Wellington which was the best I have ever had in my life - amazing. Then I had the pistachio cake and again it was stunning. Overall... read more

I've eaten here many times so it can't be that bad .... howevrr its in a great location which we love, the bar is extremely good, always a fab atmosphere even when quiete. The restaurant is nice, but feel shut away if pushed towards the back, and a bit basic. Have been with some of the family for an event,... More

We arrived at 8pm for 8:30 sitting and the restaurant was very busy with festive diners. Although the room isn't huge we didn't feel cramped (our table seated 6) and we were soon asked if we were ready for food. Our drinks orders were also taken and we were not waiting long for these to arrive. We were not waiting... More

The food was amazing and they catered for my nut allergy perfectly. There was a lot of us and there was no messed up orders or waiting around. Service was great. Will definitely be coming back.

We called in here while we were visiting the Christmas Market. They did a great job of squeezing us in with our pushchair because it's not massive inside. I had a mince beef and ale pie, my girlfriend ordered a chicken hotpot I think. Both meals were outstanding. We paid something like £9.50 each and it was well worth it.... More

The restaurant was a quiet haven after the jollity in the bars! We were a group of 4 adults, including one vegetarian, and there was a good choice of dishes for all of us. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent. The white and red wines were delicious with our food, and we were glad to see water... More

Delicious three course meal with wine. The restaurant can offer a large range of gluten free dishes and have a specific menu available to take away any of the confusion. The go the extra mile of providing GF bread, rather than just advising you that 'you can't eat the bread' like some restaurants do. A very enjoyable dining experience.

Whilst having a couple of drinks decided to enquire for availability and was very pleased to get a table for 2 at such short notice on a Saturday. Service was perfect staff very attentive. Food was excellent can't wait to go back. A must to try.
