Wow! We had three courses and were absolutely stuffed but after seeing the deserts we couldn't resist! All the food were big and of high quality. Main courses were split between carvaries which were beautiful and some he the lamb shank including my husband which is his favourite order at most places and he said it was the best he'd... More

Visited for Sunday lunch with a group of friends. The welcome was friendly and we were shown straight to our table and offered drinks. The food was plentiful and tasty and the kitchen were very obliging in serving sauces on the side and producing a dessert course not on the menu. The home-made white chocolate chip cookies that accompanied the... More

We went for Sunday lunch carvery having heard the food was good and it was great. The waitresses were efficient and friendly and we were served very quickly. Luckily we sat in the back where it was quieter as the main part was just so loud and chaotic we were glad we didn't have to sit in there. I think... More

A great place for a Carvery with at least 4 meats to choose from. Booking is essential as it is very busy being such a popular place. We were advised that there were two sitting for Sunday lunch - 12:00-1:30 and 3:00 onwards. We chose the latter and were not disappointed - the food was delicious and piping hot and... More

We visited for a carvery on a Sunday. I had booked a table for 3pm. We booked in on arrival and were told to get a drink and wait in the bar. Two drinks and 35 minutes later we were finally called to our table. We were told we would be informed when we could go up to the carvery.... More

I went here recently and the food was lovely, very wholesome and cooked well. The portions are huge! So sadly I had no room for pudding.

We were lucky to arrive on spec and the gent found us a table. Thankyou. You do need to book for a guaranteed table/seat Food was nice... Many vegetables and 4 choice of Carvery meal. Meat wasn't fantastic, quite fatty. Bottled water to share..£4.50 Fantastic area for children and for a walk, probably better in sunshine... Hope our review helps

Nice friendly staff, lovely carvery and spacious restaurant made for a nice lunch. Only gripe was that the pizza from the children's menu looked like one of those microwave ones... The best bit for us was the lovely gardens with fabulous playground.
