Delicious food in cozy surroundings - I can champion the rainbow trout and wild boar meatballs! Wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

Went on a Saturday for lunch, meeting family to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had a wide variety of main courses, I shared a chateaubriand with my son, which we both thought was excellent. I can also report that the other 4 diners enjoyed their meal. We have been meeting for many years at a gastropub halfway between our homes,... More

Me and hubby decided to try something different for our anniversary. This place was recommended by a friend. The food was amazing, service was lovely, atmosphere was cozy. Couldn't ask for more. Portions are filling and the food tasted fresh. We had the steak, sour dough bread with can butter. Just wish we had room for dessert. Also nice to... More

A group of 7 men went to the Curzons for supper after cycling around the woods. The atmosphere was great, food was excellent and good value for money and the staff were really pleasant (especially the Landlord). Its the second time I've been in 6 weeks and would recommend it to anyone

I had a late Sunday lunch here with my husband and toddler (who were eating) and baby (who wasn't). I had called to book ahead earlier in the day and the table we were given was perfect as it had plenty of space for the baby's car seat to go on a chair and also for the toddler to wriggle... More

Brilliant gastro pub in a lovely village! Will definitely return many times.... Service is great, and nice outdoor area for the summer.

Had several meals here and have never been dissapointed. Quite a cosy pub with real fires etc and a good selection of real ales which are always kept just right. Good selection of wines also.

I visited the Curzon last week for lunch with two friends. We were just passing through the area so hadn't booked in but despite the pub being extremely busy, we were shown to our table very quickly. We asked if we could sit outside and this was no trouble at all for our waitress to move us. Our drinks were... More

We have been to the Curzon on a few occasions and have mixed feelings about it. Lunch times seem best for the type of food offered. This time we went on a Saturday evening, the place being busy due to the god weather and outside tables and dining. The starters were excellent, good presentation and taste. I had the wood... More

We use to use the Langton arms in sur Langton before they changed management and standard dropped. .so a friend told us to try this place in woodhouse eves. Great location, with a beautiful garden, even a TV to watch the World Cup outside while we eat. Food is fantastic, great menu and good service. These know how to make... More
