Happy, helpful staff, smashing food and atmosphere

The staff need a special mention here, they could not have been friendlier. From welcoming us to looking after the toddler in the party....superb! The food is sublime, the tenderest lamb I can ever remember eating! It is the little touches here that create the atmosphere, the ambience, that strike... read more

Liked staff and atmosphere....food gastro, certainly not to be raved about. Congrats to the owners for keeping such a good standard over the last 8 years.

Lovely lunch menu featuring unusual, seasonal & local food. Well cooked, sometimes a wait as everything is freshly prepared . Nice touches include children's toys, but this is a proper English country pub no nasty standardised pub chain touches here! Dinner a bit pricy, but cooking to very high standard, Love the verandah for sunny day lunching.

Best Sunday Lunch we have had in a long time - not cheap, but excellent setting, great food and attentive service. I would highly recommend!

Whenever I am in the area I will always pop in here. An extremely welcoming country pub with excellent food and service. Consider this, Sunday Lunch time we arrived and the place was very busy so we crossed fingers and asked if there was any chance of a table. We were told there would be one ready in 15 minutes... I would say the food was lovely bit for me it's the atmosphere that draws me in.... Typical country pub with the typical cosy feeling that you would expect. Decor is well thought out and without doubt creates the right feel. The food is an added extra and is great for pub grub. I love it here and I will... More

What a great pub, very friendly staff, Landlord on tap, nice surroundings and great food. I've been past this pub many times and popped in on Sunday for lunch. Despite not having a booking I was accommodated straight away (by Ben I believe) and politely told what time they needed the table back for, which I really appreciated. The food... More

Another fabulous sunny Sunday at my favourite country pub! A warm welcome as usual by all the friendly staff, a good pint of Doonbar and great food too. It is a dog friendly pub. Horses are welcomed too! A proper English country pub.

We've been eating regularly at the Curzon Arms and we really like it. It's friendly, the food is good and we can bring the dog in. A few weeks back though, we ordered a chocolate ice cream and it wasn't until I got to the bottom that I realised it had hazelnuts in it, which hadn't been written on the... More
