Fantastic food and service!

Had a super evening - loved the fabulous gambas/prawns with garlic, cream and coriander - and owner Shaf was charm personified.

I was a member of a very large party on a night when not many other tables were occupied. Friendly and attentive service. Liked the layout and it did feel really smart and modern. Good menu choices and everyone (13 of us some of whom were previous visitors) enjoyed their food. I especially enjoyed the vegetable pakora, really crisp, spicy... More

Friendly, tasty and not rushed. I've eaten in a few Indian restaurants in Leicester and had read the reviews on trip advisor on here. Midweek and the place was full with 2 large parties of 10+. The staff were attentitive without being a nuisance. The menu was discussed and I decided on the venison tikka. The waiter offered to have... More

I had read the other reveiws with interest and with some trepidation as many were not at all flattering. I had booked to go to this restaurant on a Friday night with my husband, teenage daughter and her friend. I need not have worried. The service was impeccable, efficient, polite and very friendly. The drinks arrived quickly after the order... More

The owner is marketing this restaurant as' fine dining' but the service doesn't meet the expectations. On arrival we were seated in the lounge and left. Coats not taken and no drinks offered. Similar story to other reviewers. Long wait for food as mentioned and two people walked out making a scene while we were there. The owner needs to... More

We visited on a Saturday night having made a reservation for 8.30. We were asked to wait in the seating area whilst are table was prepared, this was fine. We were given a menu but after 10 minutes had to ask if we could order a drink, we ordered 2 cocktails. We were then shown to our table. After a... More

Look over the reviews for this place and what do you see? They range from rosy and glowing to truly abysmal. So that means that this place is, at best, a big risk. Catch them on a good day and you may be okay but go there at the wrong time and...... So, this was our experience:- Confused looking staff.... More

First time visitor - our table was booked for 8:30 and we arrived 5 minutes early. Had drinks in the waiting area whilst browsing the menus. Were shown to our table and after a short wait our orders were taken. Poppadoms arrived - they were 'pre-broken' into quarters which neatly hid the fact they are pretty small - later on... More

Went on a Saturday night. Was very busy with nice atmosphere although felt a little cold where we were sitting. However most surprisingly the food that we got was a huge let down. Compared to when we visited the restaurant when it had just opened the quality of food has slipped. The paneer shashlick starter was very oily and very... More
