Good, fresh food

We visited with friends on a Friday evening and were impressed by the quality of the food, particularly the meat dishes. Good wine list - the merlot was excellent.

A lovely ambience, great staff and amazing food. A little hidden but once found never forgotten. Look out for their special offer on a Tuesday - brilliant value for money.

Went her for a Xmas meal (lunchtime) with colleagues. I've never been to a restaurant where people were crammed in so much! Food was ok, but not particularly hot or large portions.

Food was pub quality and overpriced. Everything about this restaurant was wrong. Lighting, music (when it actually came on). Staff were friendly enough but a big disappointment and certainly would not return or recommend to anyone.

We had a quick dinner in the Boot room and we eat very nice meat medallion ... the location is little bit outside the center but not that far. The inside part doesn't look so good and the service is normal.

The food here is very good but the service a little confusing. Whilst I can't really fault the service that I received it all seemed a little panicky and staff running around like headless chickens at times. You sort of felt that everyone was new at the job and not sure of what they were doing. It's really about that... More

We had some vouchers given to us for Christmas and decided to visit on a Friday evening, Resturant was modern and clean, food was amazing I had the tempura chicken (for starters) and a chicken supreme risotto for main which was the best risotto I've ever had! My husband had the scallops and the lamb shank, both too were amazing... More

I wasn't sure what to expect from this restaurant, but on entering, and within a few minutes two parties tried to book a table for the night, but were told 'fully booked'. This is usually a good sign that It is a good restaurant. I wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection - as requested... More

We dined here very early on a Saturday as we were attending a show at 7pm, so I can't comment on the atmosphere in general as we were the only diners there! The tables were a good size thought and plenty of space between them, so I imagine it to be a pleasant environment even at busier times. The menu... More
