Anniversary meal

Anniversary meal, never been before and pleased that we went. Reasonable priced, would like to see a more varied drinks menu but food menu had a good selection. Floor staff attentive.

The Bootroom appealed online and on tripadvisor so we decided to give it a try. Well we were not disappointed. Really nicely decorated. Modern, contemporary. The people were lovely and attentive. The food very nicely presented on very ht plates, for a very competitive price! What more could anyone want on a Friday night, in a city centre venue? We... More

Came here on Saturday night at 9pm with no reservation but luckily got a table and pleased we did. Great food, great service, comfortable and enjoyable. Can recommend the pigeon starter and pork belly main

Came in on St Patrick's Day to find that there was a discounted 3 course set menu. The risotto starter was cooked perfectly and fresh. The pie was lovely, came with a thick filling. Possibly bought in pastry though? Finally, the desert souffle was 10/10!! Couldn't fault! The service was also excellent! Well worth visiting this quaint place.

Been here a few times and the service and food are both good. I've had the steak a few times as I'm a steak lover and it is of very good quality in my opinion. There's a good chic of menu and the service is pretty good. Go for the CBA Tuesdays set menu but it give you a good... More

We wanted to go for a meal out on Saturday night and wanted to go somewhere new. My fiance suggested The Boot Room and after checking the menu online we booked. It was 7pm on Saturday and although it wasn't full, it was relatively busy as there was a big party at the back of the restaurant. The decor is... More

what a great venue for a restaurant. The industrial features add a nice touch to the feel of this restaurant and the greeting by staff on arrival enhances it further. On booking we were warned that service may be slow as there was a big party in. It wasn't slow, it was just right. Staff were attentive, polite and warm.... More

Enjoyed a great meal at this restaurant with a group of 20 for an informal wedding breakfast. Having pre-ordered, the food was delivered in a timely fashion (not too quick or too slow as per other reviews) and we were kept from being thirsty with regular drink replenishments. My starter (an oriental-style chicken) and main (beef medallions) were delicious but... More

11 of us went for a friends 30th Birthday recently, all of us opting for the Tuesday night set 3 course menu which was value for money and the food was good. Although the service was atrocious. Not once was there a smile, no quality check during the meal, no offer for more drinks and when the bill came the... More

I have been to the Bootroom many times and absolutely love the food, however my only slight criticm is that it comes too quickly! Our starter came five minutes after ordering, we hadn't even had time to eat our bread, and the main meal came another five minutes after finishing our starter. We always feel a bit rushed and you...
