That's all! I was driving so couldn't try the ale. Fish and chips 10 out of 10 though! The venue is also quite groovy/quaint in a converted-farm style.

Have been here a few times and every visit has been fine. On last visit everything I asked the waitress for she seem to not take note. I asked for garden peas for my daughter they didn't come out until I re asked, I wanted cream not ice cream with my desert so she brings me ice cream, only small... More

Nikki helped us to arrange our reception and was just fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Christian, Jay and 'Ben'-Jay were just amazing on the day. The food and service was excellent, we had so many brilliant comments on the hog roast, it was just so tasty. I already know a couple of my friends who are interested in holding... More

The food was very good and all the meat is locally reared. One can really taste the difference. The choices are fairly traditional for main courses and puddings (great crumble). The selection of real ales rounds off a very good traditional English pub/restaurant experience in the location lust off the Leicester ring road and on the site where the children's... More

Always a great selection of ales, lovely food (huge portions!) and excellent service from waitress Nicki. Pie night is a particular treat. This place is the old stables of which was previously a farm that attracted many visitors. Since this left this little area on the edge of the countryside has a few little shops in a cobbled courtyard surrounding... More

The times I have been is for sunday lunch, The service was efficient and the food good. There was 3 choices for the main course but I thought the desserts were quite expensive for small portions, On the whole we were satisfied but found it quite noisy as there were several parties there, some with small children

We were a large group made larger by 2 more unexpected guests arriving. This was quickly dealt with and did not faze the helpful young lady who quickly arranged 2 more settings. With such a large group, with children, there were times when not everyone was at the table and menu choices were forgotten etc! Everything was met with friendly... More

Well what a place we were advised to dine here by friends who live local to it. From the spacious car park to the short walk to the ex farm buildings was nostalgic. on entering the pub with all the trinket's and treasures adorning almost every inch was eye opening. This is a must on any one's list. The food... More
