Seeing the fabulous reviews on Tripadvisor we went for a late Saturday lunch at this tearoom. We have always passed it by whilst out shopping as it looks so small and cramped.  Inside it was indeed very small and cramped. Luckily neither me or my husband are of a chunky size as both of us had trouble squeezing our legs... More

Quaint little tea room tucked away in Leicester with a cozy little alley way at the back featuring tables to sit outside and enjoy. The scones with the works were absolutely amazing!!!!

I visited here with my partner during a weekend away. It was my first visit to the tearoom (although my partner had been before and recommended it) The tearoom is set in a beautiful little building and is very quaint inside! The staff were friendly. Me and my partner both had a sandwich and shared some chips. The food was... More

Tucked away in the bustling lanes of Leicester is an old fashioned tearoom which has moved with the times. Although small downstairs they have more than adequate seating upstairs & in the shared courtyard at the back. We were served promptly by an extremely well trained waitress. There were five of us, all seeming to adapt their perfered choice, which... More

I've been to this tea room a couple of times and the food has been faultless on both occassions! On my first visit service was fairly slow, but they were very accommodating. My mum and I both suffer intolerances and they were more than happy to change the dishes around to suit our needs. On my second visit, they had... More

Had a wonderful lunch here with family. We all enjoyed our individual meals. The atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately the toilets were super tiny and a bit messy and someone was building next door (which i know isn't there fault but the noise did take away from the pleasant atmosphere). Will definitely go back.

It's a tea room, but it is lovely if a little cramped in some areas, but that adds to the charm. Most of the clientele are there because they appreciate the atmosphere, and as such it attracts a certain kind of person: The type of person I am happy to hotch my chair in as they say "excuse me" to... We decided to have a light lunch here after looking at the menu. Our order was taken fairly quickly and the teas arrived swiftly but then we waited and waited and waited. We thought we had been forgotten although we knew other people that had ordered after us had not received their food yet. The time from ordering to receiving... More

Service was a bit slow but the food was very nice, lots to choose from and interesting sandwich fillings. Decor was in keeping with a tea room, but looked a bit tired in places.

For a tearoom, the menu gives you a variety of choice and is good value for money, with reasonable sized portions.
