Lovely food and cakes, quirky building, friendly staff. A lovely place for a cup of tea or bite to eat. I can recommend the macaroons personally as well as the tiffin-yum!

Decided to visit Leicester for the day and remembered this tea rooms. Had a lovely ham, egg and chips lunch. a bit pricey but the chips were gorgeous and we could not finish them all. The staff were lovely and meals came quickly. The only downside was the eating areas were all a bit cold and food didn't stay hot... More

Went on a Sunday with some friends. I had a lovely veggie breakfast. The chips looked delish! Great value for the amount and quality of the food. Take a trip!

Been to Mrs Bridges for a few years now, always head there when in Leicester for lunch, always great service, superb variety of tasty food and reasonably priced. If you've not been, give it a go for yourself and see what you think!

Stopped off for a drink and a bite to eat, very extensive menu, I chose a ploughmans platter, ok but not great also had a latte which tasted like it was out of a machine so not greatly impressed however the service was very efficient.

Until a couple of months ago, I had never heard of Mrs Bridges, when my boyfriend treated me to lunch here. The food is incredible and generously sized and the range of drinks they have is just wonderful. The waitresses are all so helpful and polite, always happy to actually chat to you rather than simply follow steps of service,... More

There really is something about this place. Tucked away hidden in city centre without any obvious sign that it exists. Yet its always buzzing & busy. Its got a typical menu a cafè should have but the food hits the right spots! I love it highly recommend it anytime!!! Not to keen on their deserts but the rest yes!

Have been going to Mrs Bridges for about 30 years. Always had a good reception especially in the early years when family were young. Can't comment on afternoon tea, which some people have felt poor, but lunch from the menu and specials board has always been good. Very good and generously filled sandwiches, especially take out which are far better... More

Beware - what you see written on the menu isn't what you actually get. We visited here this afternoon and decided to have afternoon tea - written on their menu as "Choice of finger sandwiches, scone with clotted cream and jam, cakes, pot of tea". The teapot came only half filled with water - talk about being tight. Would it... More

Mrs Bridges Tea Rooms is the eldest tea room in Leicester. I have been going for over 35years plus, each time it always delivers. Excellent food, good atmosphere and good service. A must if walking down Loseby Lane.
