A good decision

Went here because the rain was pouring down and couldn't be bothered to find anywhere else. Decor and furniture a bit hard and industrial in design. Not giving the best impression. The service was good. The food was excellent. I was surprised how good the food was, as I've been... read more

We had a nice dinner here with two fish and chips well cooked. The only thing we didn't like was a waitress gave us the plate in our hands, she supposed to leave on the table! And then we wait more than 15 minutes before a waiter/ess came out and we could ask for the bill.

Over £8 for cod chips n peas - very expensive but an enourmous fish and tastes great when sitting outside on the prom.

We came to Harry Ramsdens quite late on in the evening but the staff could not have been more accommodating. The waitresses were friendly and cleared a table for us and the food was beautifully cooked and tasted lovely. A perfect visit to an iconic fish and chip restaurant.

After a very hectic day in Blackpool with the family we all needed something hearty to eat and Harry Ramsden did not disappoint, we used the take-out next door to the restaurant as our youngest child was tired. The staff where very friendly and attentive, The portion size of each meal was very good. The counter-top and tables looked immaculately... More

When I were a lad, the family often drove out to the first wpever Harry Ramsdens in Yorkshire. Now thats some 55 years ago so when they opened a Ramsden in my home town, wow. I must admit I have only visited twice, and thats when friends visit the town. Nit as good as the original but still a great... More

My first experience of the famous Harry Ramsden fish and chips was at this restaurant many years ago. I loved it. I've been back many times but since it became part of a franchise it has deteriorated. Today was the worst. We decided to eat in the take away bit rather than the restaurant. After waiting for 10 minutes I... More

Fresh Fish, the chefs do a grand job, nice portions staff are smiley and friendly. The tables are clean and the staff ask if everything is ok, which doesn't happen much these days.

Wouldn't come back, the prices are a joke and the size of the fish was ridiculous. Well over half the size of a normal fish at the fish and chip shops in Yorkshire
