Visited here as a family prior to viewing the illuminations. Chose Harry's for it's brand name and the 5 star FSA rating which is hard to find at most chippys in Blackpool. Yet, this place may of hand a refit that makes it look kitsch and hip but this ultimately reflects on the price. A regular cod and chips cost... More

Overall this restaurant left a lot to be desired. The food was ok but the service (despite having more than enough staff) was appalling. Drinks took an age to arrive even though they had been poured and were sat on the bar for a good 15 mins. This wasn't just a problem with our table either. The staff continuously walked... More

It was a very windy day so me and my fiancée decided to pop in as it was the nearest place (plus my feet were hurting from all the walking) got shown to table promptly, drinks order was taken then she came and took food order, they didn't hurry with the drinks, I was going to ask where they were... I ate at the Harry rams dens fish and chip shop last night. Fish very good, chips terrible however I didn't think the fish was anything special your just paying more for a name.

My partner and I visited This restaurant on a first visit to Blackpool and were very impressed by the excellent food and efficient, friendly staff. Particular mention to Carlos who went the extra mile in making us have a wonderful evening!

Harry's used to be a really good chain. We first went to the restaurant in Shipley (the original) but it is probably now a franchised chain. Food was OK (but nowhere near as good as the Bispham Kitchen) with a slice of bread and butter costing £1! (a loaf costs £1 in Tesco!). The Bispham Kitchen includes it in the... More

The worst fish and chips I have ever had. Cod was incredibly thin, if you didn't know it was cod you would think it was a battered sausage. It tasted ok but I don't know how they get away with charging that amount for such a pathetic portion. The chips however were absolutely disgusting. They were like frozen French fries... More

My Wife and I had an awful meal here at Harry Ramsden's on Sunday 14th September. We ordered Cod and Chips but was very disappointed when we moved the cod off the top of a pile of chip bits! We complained to a member of staff who said she would change them and took my meal into the kitchen but... More
