I find you can never go wrong with Wetherspoons. Even on a busy Friday night the service and food was really good. Sat upstairs which was quieter than the main area.

We had a 6 day break in Blackpool arriving on Sunday 9th March 2014, being a real ale fan I like to try different Wetherspoons pubs where ever we are. Set back 2 mins from the prom on a corner setting there is 3 floors to the pub, ground floor, a first floor & a roof top drinking area accessable... More

we live in Blackpool and visit the town centre once a week. We always have lunch here. Last time we went we ordered from the Chicken Club menu. We were served by, as the last reviewer put it 'the ginger one' (how rude of you, by the way, to refer to a member of staff like that) and found 'the... More

We live in Blackpool and we have been regulars to the Layton Rake, usually every two to three nights, we order drink & food. We go because the food and drink are at a reasonable price. However this last time we went it was a Thursday night, which was a Curry night. They had no Nan Breads and no Lamb... More

Visited this great place luckily on steak night we had a sirloin and a large mixed grill with a free drink with each meal for a cost of £17.68. Great value, the food was excellent the service from Paul was first class what more do you need. Will visit again.

Drinks and food prices are great, second (first) floor is awesome, it's almost like the people on the first (ground) floor don't know we're there!!! Food can be hit or miss but overall for the price it's awesome - and don't forget, if you're not happy, just send the food back!! They will do anything here to look after you!... More

My friends and i use this Weatherspoons pub when we meet several times a year. Every time we have been in using the upstairs bar we can get a seat and have a chat. The bar staff now know us, remembering are drinks too. The food is very good and the time taken to be delivered every time seems to... More
