I don't need to say much you have to go and taste probably the best Indian/Bangladesh food I've tasted the curries are great Sammy always suggests something new that the chefs have created nothing is to much trouble the naan breads are amazing always reasonable very relaxed informal atmosphere a great night out

Living in Blackpool I go to the Akash whenever I fancy a curry. The staff are friendly, the food is great and the prices are fair. The decor is proper old school curry house and it actually adds to the enjoyment. There are no other curry houses in Central Blackpool that can come close.

Was greeted and seated immediately, went here on a recommendation however, there was a table of around 6 people that were very rowdy and loud. They weren't asked to calm down which spoilt our night a little bit. Good was gorgeous tho very hot, and served immediately, and very reasonable priced.

The Akash delivered again on my Halloween visit. Two superbly cooked meals delivered in a polite and efficient style. Sami as usual provided the banter and his football knowledge knows no bounds. Many thanks from a happy Swansea City Supporter.

O dear, best Indian in Blackpool? I don't think so...classic 1970s decor, I can't really describe the food .... Vesta style perhaps is a fair description, rather grubby but fantastic friendly staff. The beers flat as well.

I had a very tasty chicken bhuna. I was also given a complimentary Brandy at the end of my meal. I was surprised at how small the bill was. If you're looking for a friendly, good value Indian restaurant in Blackpool then look no further!

I have visited a few curry houses in my time but I have to say the food here is amazing. Greeted by the owner who made us feel welcome and it wasn't that long before the starters came. The restaurant was extremely busy with pictures of mike Baldwin and Eglebert gracing the bar area, would definitely come again Thanks to... More

Just left the Akash!! Had better food but reasonably priced. Biggest point i can make is the place is disgustingly filthy. Table cloths haven.t been washed for weeks. Toilets and public areas have never seen a bleach bottle and cloth.! Service is laughable.too many tables rammed into a small room. Some people couldn.t leave without climbing over other people. Glad... More

A good Indian restaurant with very friendly, helpful staff. My wife is vegan but rather than having to be restricted to suitable meals from the veggie section of the menu, the waiter said she could pick any of the currys and they would adapt it. My wife opted for the vegetable Vindaloo which she enjoyed. I had a very tasty... More
