A good place to eat

Stanley park Cafe doesn't have a lot of 'atmosphere' but it sells good food and drinks at reasonable prices.

I hate giving bad reviews but if I have a poor experience I feel I need to let people know. First off the cafe on first impression is really nice. I used to come here when I was very young quite frequently. The building itself has remained old fashioned in a good way. That is the only positive. First off,... More

I don't normally write reviews but felt that compelled to write one this time. Just visited the cafe for the first time. It's beautiful inside and we bought 2 coffees, 2 sandwiches & 2 cakes. It was a few pennies short of £20. When the cake came it was a really small slice. I'm sorry but you charged me extra... More

Beautiful building. Worth a look. Cakes looked amazing but quite pricey. My tea was ok but it's worth going to just look at the architecture. Toilets weren't great but they appeared to be original. Will go back

Nice cafe in a really great location, lovely on a nice Summer or even a Winters day. Plenty to do in the park, and the zoo is just a five minute walk away too!

Took our friends from Ireland this weekend for lunch and it finished the weekend off a treat! Shaun, the owner, managed to seat 11 of us (8 adults, 2 children and a baby) in the beautiful 'art deco' cafe without any prior notice, and it was a busy Sunday afternoon. He is always very friendly and caring towards his guests... More
