Used Tripadvisor to select a suitable fish and chip cafe/restaurant on our trip to Blackpool this week. We settled on Yorkshire Fisheries due to its location to the theatre and where the car was parked. We weren't disappointed on any level. The welcome was friendly, the service was speedy and, obviously of prime importance, the food was of a very... More

I was in Blackpool with my friends, and we had a very good lunch in this restaurant. The environment was friendly and clean, the staff were absolutely kind and quick in delivering orders. I ordered a grilled tuna and it was really tasty. My friends took fish and chips and the dish looked very very succulent, so I couldn't resist... More

I had a take away from Yorkshire Fisheries a few weeks ago and said at the time it was so good that I would be returning to try the restaurant, last Friday was that day. A nice friendly greeting when I entered, beautifully clean restaurant, delicious fish, chips, peas and great service, the banter between the waitress (Scots lady) and... More

What a friendly place, with excellent fish and chips. Recommended by a car park attendant close to the Winter Gardens, we popped in here before going to see Mamma Mia . Our waitress was lovely, even though it was 20 minutes to closing. We were served promptly with freshly cooked lightly battered fish and chips... Yes they do a light... More

Surprised at the 'brilliant' taste of their fish after the first couple bites, we soon realised this was the taste we have missed for a while - MSG, and a heavy load of it was lined onto the fish itself, not the batter. This was our first encounter of it being used in Fish and Chips, in this magnitude. The... More

I am very disappointed to read your review once again. You had originally placed this review a couple of days ago, stating that our fish is 'lined' with 'GSM' I responded to your allegations both publicly and privately and stated categorically that we do not line our fish with mono sodium glutamate. I am saddened to see that not only... More

From the outside nothing to distinguish from every other fish and chip shop and doesn't look as fancy as the big chain fish and chip shop. But when you do go in there is a warm welcome plenty of tables and, most importantly, great fish and chips. Had a large cod, chips and peas and none of it disappointed, batter... More
