Visited this establishment at 12.30 pm and we were the first there. We should have turned around and gone elsewhere and I even suggested that to my wife. Ordered a starter of dipping bread but had to send it back as the bread was so stale it was solid. The garlic butter was old on top with fresh underneath and... More

Will not be returning due to "manager" mâle in forties, grey hair and glasses snatching my plate after i wanted my meal changing, RUDE just muttered something he had no customer service skills! Would like to say thankyou to the young girl who took care of our replacement meal very plesent and polite could teach the sorry excuse of a... More

Prawn cocktail I ordered came with stale old white bread, unacceptable. Not many prawns as the comment from the other member of the party. I had a mixed grill and the steak tasted more like liver, not at all good, I could cook better myself ha.

'Special' sauce on the burger was vile, burgers were bone dry and chips were cold. Lack of potato in the fries... Will NOT be returning.

We'd booked for 18 people for a family reunion and we enjoyed the meal very much. Service was reasonably quick by a very helpful friendly waiter. The food was great - traditional pub grub and the restaurant was clean. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a very enjoyable evening. For a family get together - it was ideal.

As much as the food was decent enough, I've had bigger, better, hotter, and cheaper. This place could be a goldmine if run right, especially if it managed to capture the locals (as we are) interest !

This restaurant managed to serve up the worst & most stringy steak I have ever tried to eat. A chain-saw might have been a better option than a steak knife & the Bearnaise sauce had the taste & consistency of milk. As you can imagine I will not return.

Not the best atmosphere in the world, but nice friendly staff and clean tidy restaurant area. The pub can get packed with drinkers more than diners however. Last time I visited I wasn't too impressed with the garlic mushrooms- they tasted like they were frozen and not very fresh at all. It is a child friendly place, and there is... More

My husband and the children all enjoyed their food but I didn't enjoy mine. I don't really eat much these days anyway, but I wanted to rate this pub. Good for families, they loved the play area. The service was quick.

I recently ate here as part of a table of six and none of us were happy with the food or service. This place was everything that sums up a rubbish restaurant: long waits between courses, cold food, long waits for drinks, I'll-informed staff and obviously a poor chef (my 'steak' was rare at one end and very we'll done...
