First impressions were of a vast space with zero atmosphere, not helped by the complete lack of music, clearly too tight to buy a PRS licence. We were ushered into the back room away from everyone else where we sat by ourselves looking through steamed up windows. We were left here for quite a while before someone came along to... More

A bit of a chequered existence, due to circumstances, Diego was forced to move upstairs for a while; but things didn't work out. Paparazzi was the old name, and now the new name is Sambuca, and the restaurant has moved back downstairs. Still excellent value for money; they do take-aways as well as sit-downs. If you're ever up the North... More

I dinned here on 28th June 2013 (a Friday evening) . The restaurant itself was recommended to me by the couple that ran the guest house I stayed at. They had actually ate there 2 days previously. As it was only a short walk from accommodation I was happy to go there for dinner after a long journey. I was... More

After eating here three times before when visiting blackpool we were looking forward to our meal there again. in the past it's been excellent value for money and a lovely meal. However this visit was a real let down. We ordered a garlic bread to start which appeared to be child size, my pepperoni sandwhich was burnt and tasteless and... More

A late booking had been taken by the restaurant that caused staffing problems at the beginning of the evening. However this was pulled round and all our meals were delivered at their usual high standards. Well done!

We ate here twice, once by choice as we'd been before but arrived a bit too late (they still managed to rustle us some food up though) and once through necessity as everywhere else was full (during Illuminations and on a Saturday night). However, both nights were excellent, loads to eat and drink, fresh food, very tasty and well worth... More
