Everything gluten free!!!

What a find. Being coeliac isn't easy when eating out but what a find! Everything on their menu gluten free unless stated, however service was a bit on the slow side but all the dishes were freshly prepared so a bit of a delay when the end result is so good is acceptable.

I booked a table for 4 on the phone and the Internet which I was replied to as booked went I arrived on Sat I found bit of paper stuck to the door saying closed due to illness.I am sure that being a family run business surly someone could let people know. I think not letting people know is very... More

A small, British, family run restaurant that proves: the British can cook, they have food worth eating and they can do it beautifully. Wonderful. Nice people, good service, great food. Blackpool is not just kebabs and chips, this place proves it. Well done :-)

All 3 of us being coeliac we are used to having to make do from a limited menu. That is until we found A Js! Firstly though the telephone number is still not working and we turned up not knowing if we could get a table and knowing that the reviews were good! We were met by the very gf... More

I visited AJ's with a group of friends and we all have a variety of dietary requirements. I am gluten intolerant and a vegetarian and 2 of my friends are vegans. The staff at AJ's are very helpful and understood what we could and could not eat and adapted the menu accordingly. My food was very nice, I had the... More

Visited here early on a Saturday evening. The Bistro was very quiet but they were expecting a birthday party in later. We chose from the early bird menu and the fish, chips and pea puree and sausage and mash were excellent. Followed by lemon tart and sticky toffee pudding, small glass of wine and half of lager, the cost of... More

This is a family run Bistro with all food freshly prepared, Sunday Lunch is served till 8pm and was very good food at great prices. We asked for a starter that was not on the menu and it was cooked fresh to order at no extra cost. This is only a 5 minute walk from the winter gardens and is... More

I remember this place from years ago....It was good. I randomly called in for Sunday lunch remembering how good it once was. Although it was not dreadful and the staff were pleasing...the food wasn't thought of at all. The chef was obviously lazy. I asked for traditional Sunday lunch. I was given beef, a Yorkshire pudding, sweet corn (!!) and... More

went to AJ's Bistro for dinner. Good quality food and fresh veggies served with the meal. I recommend the sticky pudding with custard if you enough room for pud. . . a real warm atmosphere and the waitress' who served us was both really attentive and friendly. Shame the salmon and the mussels ran out though ... hey ho there's... More
