Hadn't booked and were accommodated straight away. Very enjoyable meal, food was great, nice choice of wines and friendly, helpful service. Had coffee and liqueur of terrence (under patio heaters) which was very pleasant. Another plus point was the staff were quite happy for us to take our time over the meal which, given how busy Windermere gets, was a... More

Found this little gem today. Delightful food, olives to die for, fantastics breads, marvellous lasagne, scrummy pizza, far too full for dessert. Will be on our list to visit again. Don't miss this!

I usually do not hold high expectation of restaurants in touristy areas but this one is definitely an exception. What a great pleasant surprise! Everything was good, from food to wine to service, and prices were reasonable. The ravioli is the best I have ever had, absolutely yummy. Excellent food quality. Will recommend this restaurant without hesitation to anyone who... More

Our hotel recommended this spot and told us they had good pizza. On arrival, we didn't get the warmest of welcomes, but we sat down and ordered wine and pizza promptly. And the wine and food came promptly too and it was pretty good. The place is not large, so it seems they are pretty serious about getting the food... More

We booked very late but the staff were very accommodating. Prompt service, friendly staff, good food and great atmosphere. Menu fairly limited but good choice. Not the cheapest of places but a good meal so I didnt mind paying slightly more than expected. Would certainly go again.

The Giotto has a early bird special before 6:30pm where you can buy any Pasta or Pizza for £6:95. We had 2 lovely Pasta meals with a Garlic Bread starter and the service and standard of food was excellent.

We did not book a table before arriving and when we arrived the host was quite rude saying no tables were available, after asking how long the wait would be (15 mins) we decided to take a drink in the bar first. The bar man was lovely and the wine menu well priced. Our wait was around 15 minutes before... More

We have eaten at this restaurant on past visits to Windermere and hoped they would have sorted out the poor service but no, it is just as bad as ever. It isn't that they aren't efficient it is the manner that the service is carried out. Greeting us at the door was a man, the owner I think. We gave... More

food was good and staff friendly, but we had booked asking for gluten free and were told they did have pasta and pizza bases but when we got there they had nothing for us but the most expensive thing on the menu. One of the party also had to send her meal back as her bowl of pasta was almost... More

We visited whilst on holiday on a very hot evening. We decided to sit indoors since it was too hot to sit outside. They sat us near the bar which in itself was not a bad decision. The food was plentiful and all very delicious. One word of warning, we ordered some garlic bread whilst waiting on our starters, but... More
