Well a wet and grim visit to Penrith on our way back from Glasgow needed some brightening up (and drying out!), and this place didn't disappoint. Coffee was the best we had all week and scones and carrot cake were lovely. Well done team, keep up the good work!

The food is lovely and up to date. All very modern but without the 'cheffiness' that can spoil some places. It is reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Today I ordered the tortilla wrap and I throughly enjoyed it. The menu had a good variety of choice. The tables were cleaned and the toilet had been cleaned. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cafe.

We happened upon this great cafe a few years ago and had a lovely lunch. We tend to go now for breakfast. The full English is always the choice of hubster and I have the eggs benedict. Our 7 year old is always happy with the toasted tea cake and a glass of milk. Service is very good, and food... More

While visiting Penrith I was absolutely delighted to find this little gem - lunch here was the highlight of a visit to what is a pretty grim & depressing little town. I thoroughly enjoyed the soup & sandwich combo which I followed with a slice of their home made & very delicious Lemon Drizzle Cake. The staff are friendly; the... More

We had a lovely lunch here. Penrith is not the most exciting of towns and there are not that many shops and it is not that picturesque so here is a cafe trying really hard to be modern, relaxed, contemporary and serve decent food - all of which is does really well. Service was swift and polite and we ordered... More

We stopped here on Friday while out for a wander and had delicious coffees outside at their tables in the sunshine, lovely potted plants on the tables--- at our table was my favourite flower nemesia with vanilla perfume. Lovely friendly lass served us and their toilet was on the ground floor.

We called after seeing the Trip Advisor sign and were not disappointed. I had the Cumberland sausage in a stottie with salad, and my wife had the Pitta/Humous/Salad. We so had curly chips and a dip to share. The salad was lovely and crisp, with a slight peppery taste. My sausage had red onion and chutney/marmalade. Both were really fresh... More

Stopped in after reading positive Tripadvisor reviews. We just missed the colcannon special that we went in for so ordered a chicken wrap and an eggs Benedict. They came pretty promptly but the chicken had been cooked almost too long (not a problem for me as I like my food well done but others might have sent it back as... More
