Unsurprisingly popular

The fact that this restaurant was very busy on a cold, wet and windy Saturday evening in January suggests that it is doing something right. My wife started with a small whole Dover Sole which she said was excellent. I ordered the Ox tongue which was tasty and surprisingly filling. We both had the... read more

We visited what used to be our favourite lunch venue but after a poor experience we haven't been for a while. Well our confidence has been restored, our lunch this week was excellent and very good value for money. The menu is quite extensive and we chose the two course lunch menu for £7 which was really good. Soup with... More

Fantastic lunch with a couple of friends. Also afternoon tea after a funeral which was a lovely setting for such a sad occasion. Would recommend and have a fantastic menu!

Mrs Millers is a lovely restaurant, the waitresses made our visit very pleasant with their 'sunny' personalities. Had to send my pork back for a bit more cooking but this was done without fuss & it came back perfect. Excellent food & wine at good prices.

A lovely meal. The soup was delicious accompanied with home made bread and butter. Followed by the best fish and chips that I have ever had anywhere. £6.00 fantastic. Lovely staff also.

We booked a table for 5 and were struggling to find the restaurant and had to ring for directions. A very friendly voice on the other end of the phone gave us directions and then she came out to meet us. The food was delicious and the service very friendly and efficient. We will certainly go again.

We recently dined at Mrs Millers while staying at a local B&B. The food was so good that we returned the second night! Excellent food and a lovely, informal atmosphere.

Called in on the off chance for Sunday Lunch, the lady on the counter asked were we booked, to which I replied no sorry, did we need to, to which the frosty reply came yes and we're full, despite half the tables being empty. I guess she must just have been having a bad day! We had a wonderful lunch... More

I have a new project - working my way through the Good Food Guide so went a few miles off my way home to try Mrs Miller's. Glad I did. Fab food and the value is unbeatable. I still can't quite believe that my friend and I had the daily lunch special for £6 EACH! beautiful cauilflower soup, then flatiron... More

We had the best meal I've had ever! Pork and pistachio terrine with gluten free toast, a fish course followed by the best steak and chips ever. Girlie night relaxed and really excellent.
