I had arranged to meet a friend for lunch here but she was stuck in a jam on the motorway for 2 hours! She phoned the staff who kindly passed on her message and mobile number. They did not mind me sitting waiting for an hour with only a coffee which I subsequently was given on the house. The soup was home-made... More

I have eaten up and down the country from Michelin star restaurants to small road side cafes. My friend had recommended No 15 to me. My first impressions were that of entering a very pleasant cafe with a nice atmosphere. There was no distinct welcome or feeling of warmth from the staff when entering (although the person who directed me... More

Four days in Penrith and I wish I had found this place first! Even the porridge is made fresh for each person and they have soy milk on the menu. Fresh breakfast, friendly service and the baked goods are quite yummy! Went back for lunch, the three bean soup fit nicely into my vegetarian needs. Did I mention the coffee?... More

How is this 47 of 115 restaurants in Penrith? - it is far better than that. Great welcoming engaged staff, imaginative tasty food, a vibrant welcoming cafe. We visited for lunch and had the Turkish Salad and Frittatta - superb! Get a sister retaurant in Carlisle please!!!!

We visit here regular and never been disappointed, staff always friendly and service very good, lovely homemade food. Could not complain about anything. The turkish salad and lamb koftas are amazing and great portions for a good appetite. Good choice of coffees and wine also.

We had a delicious lunch here. The ingredients tasted like they'd just been picked out of the garden, they tasted so fresh. Good, friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere.

Well, the Turkish Salad is wonderful, and when it's on the menu, there's nothing else to match it. But I wanted to leave a comment today to thank the young lady who served me who was great. She made a fussy customer a cracking Flat White and was good humoured throughout. A cheery smile goes a long way. Thanks No.15.

2 minutes off the M6 - make this your break rather than a service station. They have a chalk board with 15 reasons why to choose this café and I agree with them all! They also note that if you're in a rush, please tell them. However, our service was impeccable with no waiting: we had coffee refilled for free... More
