I've never been here, and I've heard the food is good, so thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, I still have no idea what the food is like after waiting 40 mins for a smoked salmon bruchetta, basically a posh sandwich. I placed my order and then relaxed on the sofa, it was only when I noticed a couple... More

Great little cafe with good food, delicious baking (the best in Penrith as far as I'm concerned), good coffee and a nice atmosphere.

Hubby and I called in for lunch, it was not too busy and we sat in the front seating area. Great menu, food cooked to order, well presented and very tasty. Used the free wi-fi but the signal was quite poor.

Stopped here for a coffee and asked a guy if they had a cushion for me to sit on as chairs were hard wooden ones, he wandered off and while we waited talked to someone through the back, then strolled back and told me they didn't have cushions, there were some sofas which were at that time occupied...so off we... We went here when our usual tea stop was closed for the Easter weekend. They have a nice menu, had a range of gluten free cake and have a pleasant atmosphere. It wasn't too pricey. The tea was ok, but it was from tea bags. The cakes were slightly pricey and not that good, although they did kindly give me... More

Always enjoy this cafe - nice relaxed atmosphere with daily papers to read and has excellent coffee and very good home made soup with lots of bread which is good value.

Came here with some friends and loved it. The food was great and the service was very welcoming, I would highly recommend the ratatouille!

Arrived here on a cold Saturday afternoon at 4pm looking for a warm drink a cake/sandwich. Should have got the message when we arrived as the counter was covered with change as the staff were obviously cashing up ready to close at 4.30. After standing at the counter for a couple of minutes I managed to get one of the... More

Been a fairly regular customer here but am afraid I probably won't bother going back. The food is well made though expensive. The cakes are gorgeous and homemade fresh. However service is very unreliable. On a number of occasions I've waited far too long to have my order taken (not in a busy period either), refills of coffee have been... More
