Fabulous atmosphere!!! Great host :)

Proper tapas restaurant! On holiday in the area and were made welcome by Karen, she advised on all the dishes. Menus could do with an update but food was fantastic, portions great. Not the cheapest but the quality was great (prawns fantastic). New waitress on too, who was lovely!!!

Bright and brash but a fun place which provides a bit of sunshine on a windy March day. Everything about it is big; the owners personality and the dishes themselves (even if they are tapas!). Interesting and good food, not cheap but an experience.

Costas doesn't look much from the outside but when you walk through the door you are immediately given a warm welcome and will not be disappointed. The service is great, food very reasonably priced with an extensive menu to choose from and most importantly all the dishes are delicious. We've eaten here on numerous occasions at different times in the... More

Every time we go to Costas Tapas we always go with friends. The experience is always good, the hosts go out of their way to create a great atmosphere and the food is fantastic. We are never disappointed and whenever we go we always leave wondering why we left it so long to go back. Can't wait for the next... More

My partner and I went to Costa's on a whim after hearing that a friend had booked for her birthday and also reading some good reviews (as well as bad) about the food. We were greeted by the owners wife, we realised this is who she was because of the pictures of her with her husband on the wall. We... More

We thought Costas was an authentic Spanish-style tapas bar and loved the atmosphere. Food wasn't bad either!! We were told in advance that the portions were slightly larger than your average tapas and that was no exaggeration - we couldn't finish it. Only spoiler was, we asked if we could take home what we hadn't eaten and the waiter produced... More

Me and my partner visited costs with a couple of friends on Valentine's night and what a fantastic night it was. A very warm welcome by the waitress and we were seated straight away on a table that was more than big enough for the four of us so plenty of room. Drinks ordered, we decided on a large jug... More

Really good Tapas! Really good service and a wonderful atmosphere. When you visit Penrith this isn't the sort of place you expect to be eating. Really is wonderful. Big Tapas portion to. We will try and get another visit in before we got home.

Me and my partner recently visited here. our table was very small and had no room to put our legs under the table so both of us were sat side ways at the table. It was quite cold in there but I had a big jacket on and we were sat on stools and had no where to put my... More
