I am not one to write too many reviews but I felt compelled to, as I am just a touch in sensed by what I have just read. I popped into the filling station a couple of weeks ago. I have been before but definately not a regular. Service was quick, at the counter, as it is specified on the... More

Popped in for a quick bite after attending an event at the Keswick Mountain Festival. I had the El Diabolo burger it was lovely and hit the spot spice wise and the chips were tasty. Food was served on quirky Tin/enamel plates, a bit different. Nice decor inside and efficient staff. Will return and try further items from the menu,... More

We visited one afternoon after reading reviews on trip advisor and the burgers were good. The only downside was the café was full of bikers who thought nothing of using very colourful language, would drive past next time if it was full of bikers

We had heard about a biker-friendly cafe in Keswick and decided to check it out for breakfast one Sunday morning. When we arrived, there were already a good number of bikes parked outside and the place was full. We parked up and went inside anyway and realised that one of the tables was about to become vacant. We sat down... More

Called late lunchtime with a gang of friends, very friendly staff found us seating, took our orders and very quickly brought piping hot good quality food. Just what we needed, a clean switched on café. well done.

As part of a large Motorsport Rescue team passing closely by on the A66 we made a small detour to The Filling Station Cafe, arriving mob handed and with a convoy of vehicles, being accommodated by a small, intimate cafe was quite a big ask, but the staff handled us and the diverse needs of our team admirably. Great, I... More

We went after my friends raved about it; I'm vegetarian and got a veggie burger but was slightly disappointed that it was just a cheap vegetable burger. Something more imaginative would've been much better. The cakes are amazing. I would certainly go again but next time id have something else. Hubby was quite happy with his meat burger.

Called in for breakfast. Had the full English and a cup of tea. Still one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Can't go wrong with a visit here

We went here for a lunch - the burgers had a very strange back taste and fell apart. It was like a lump of mince only, We waited 50 minutes for our food (looking at time on till receipt and then our watch) When the food arrives, the chips were barely warm and the burger (or loose mince) was not...
