We called at the Filling Station on Saturday morning when we visited Keswick, it's easy to find easy to park and the place is on fire with atmosphere, treating ourselves to Salmon and Steak Benedick was a winner and I can highly recomend it, I am sure we will be back again very very soon Thank you

I've been to this cafe about six times now, it's a firm favourite when I'm near Keswick. The food is excellent, especially the pancakes with bacon. Even just popping in on a rainy day for a hot chocolate or a coffee is very pleasurable. My one gripe would be that on a recent visit the great selection if homemade cakes... More

Took the wife out round the lakes on the bike and we stopped here for refreshments, what a brilliant little place. Good atmosphere, nice people, lovely place and the best part was lots of bikes and cool old cars. It was well worth the trip. Brilliant

We are so glad we just happened to be passing here on the way to Borrowdale and stopped off for a late breakfast. A big fry up was required and everything about the cafe was just right. A great retro feel in the place with old biking posters, big comfortable booths, friendly service and a free juke box. Most importantly,... More

We had breakfast here this morning, arriving at 09.30 the place was already getting busy, which is always a good sign. Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long for a delicious Full English Breakfast and a stack of pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Both meals contained good quality ingredients, cooked well. So filling we didn't need... More

We have visited here quite a few times and always thoroughly enjoyed it. It was one of our favourite places to eat in Keswick, however yesterday we waited 1 hour 20 mins for our food. Nobody came over to explain what the hold up was and it wasn't until another couple got fed up of waiting and cancelled their order... More

This place is well worth a visit, just off the A66 in Keswick. The food is simply amazing and service is 2nd to none. This is a place you should arrange your trip around, I know I will be doing in future. Keep up the cracking work you lot and don't change :) happy days :) @glocky9 (Lake District Fells)

I always call here first when visiting the Lakes, whether on my bike or in the car, it's "everyone" friendly. The food is much better than the usual cafe fare, I always look forward to calling.

Went for a mid week lunch with my daughter. All the inside tables were taken so sat at the bar which was fine even for a 4 year old. Was offered a table when they became free but daughter had become quite settled at the bar! Great menu choice for adults an children, the burger was one of the best... More
