Superb cafe

We popped in here during a run out to the lakes. It really was a meant to be a quick pit stop but with my huge Americano & a slice of fantastic Victoria sponge I ended up spending an hour chatting with friends where I'd intended to spend little more than a penny if you get my drift. This is... read more

Ate here today I had smokey chicken ceasar salad, husband had a cheesy cow burger, both were very good. Washed the food down with large Earl Grey teas, just the job.

This place is simply wonderful. It's a characterful, standout Cafe in an area saturated with mediocrity. The food is simply excellent. Driven by a strong food ethic the food is both high quality and reasonably priced. It's a certainty I'll return before long.

Does what it says on the can. Good food served as quickly as possible. Music was excellent (the sort of thing you would usually expect to pay on the door for). Service was great even though the young lady behind the bar was still learning the drinks menu (nice to see a place expanding and providing new jobs :-). Plenty... More

One of my favourite places to stop off and have a bite to eat with my two year old. He loves the wedges. The team there are friendly and helpful and the food delicious. I really hope they get the restrictions lifted which stops them from serving food and drink outside after 6pm.

We have been regular visitors to the filling station since August 2013 and have always found the food and service excellent. However when we visited this afternoon with friends as I had said how good it was our experience was very poor, we made an initial order to be told that they were out of chilli - fine it' s... More

I'm sorry that on our busiest day ever since opening we ran out of some core items. We'd love to have a bigger kitchen and more space for extra fridges but it simply isn't possible and with the best will in the World, and staff, these things happen. Where we have failed is getting the message across quickly enough to... More

If you are visiting Keswick and would like to sit in a café that doesn't feel like "yet another touristy Keswick café" full of transients in Keswick- including me and Mrs Traveller on the Tyne- this is one to visit. It has an indy feel, and is a real oasis away from the centre of Keswick. We only had a... More

After a hard days work, driving around Cumbria I was in need of some kind of pick me up ! I stumbled on this cafe whilst on my way back to the hotel in Keswick. I had a medium sized Americano to end the day and did all my paperwork. Fantastic coffee and would definitely recommend

What a gem of a place . Keswick is packed with cafés , most of them for sale . You need a usp to stand out nowadays and the 'bikers cafe' As it is known locally has . Friendly staff and great products . It a shame when I read negative reviews and know from experience that the easiest business... More

We had breakfast here twice on our recent holiday is Keswick and we were very impressed. The restaurant is fitted out like an American Diner and has a lovely atmosphere. I can honestly say that they served one of the best Full English breakfasts I have ever had all washed down with strong, tasty, hot coffee. All in all this... More
