Fantastic afternoon tea

The afternoon teas here are beyond compare, very well price just 9.95 and you get a lot for your money very tasty sandwiches and home made cakes. Would have no problem in recommending this place to others, will return again

Popped in for a quick coffee and scone, delicious coffee, scones were lovely and served beautifully, only disappointment was hubby couldn't get a cheese one, maybe sold out, but fruit ones did for us. Owners/staff were so friendly and cost was good, really worth a visit but beware, always busy

Stopped in after visiting Levens Hall. Three of us had afternoon tea, WOW it wS lovely. Gorgeous bread for the sandwiches. Light fruit scones with ham and clotted cream and a cake of your choice, not forgetting the tea all for £9.99 each bargain. The other person had the sweet chilli savoury pancake which he really enjoyed. Fantastic place to... More

Great range of choices, beautifully presented by a team who work at being very good. Great portions as well. Its part of a perfect Farm Shop complex outside of Kendal with ample parking. I would be a regular if I lived in the area.

After seeing the reviews I decided to visit for lunch. The panini was delicious using freshly made bread, I think it was one of the best panini's I have eaten ! The Lumpy Bumpy Toffee cake was amazing....yum ! Lovely decor, fantastic service - I shall be back.

Stopped in here on a busy afternoon on Wednesday. The cafe itself is only small but they do have some outside seating. They do take reservations though, so if you're dead set on trying this place, book! We grabbed two sandwiches and drinks from the chill counter and you can't fault them. It's all made from Plumgarths produce and it's... More
