Sunny courtyard.

We stopped for a late lunch and as it was quite sunny decided to sit outside in the courtyard although others headed inside as it was a bit breezy. Jars of flowers on the tables were jolly and a nice touch. It's a few years since we've eaten here, I suppose it's the location, tucked away from the... read more

Visited on Saturday night with my husband and daughter. Such a warm welcome and the food was very nice. My 7 year old daughter thought the place was amazing too :)

Tucked away this restaurant is well worth seeking out. The food was excellent and the staff/owners/managers were superb at providing food that met our Gluten free/milk free diets. Well worth a visit if you are in Kendal.

Went here on the off chance and had a delightful meal. Chef couldnt have been more helpful and the choice of food was excellent. Would really recommend finding these guys just off the high street.

We googled to find somewhere for breakfast and the Joshua tree sounded the most interesting. It is located in central Kendal, close to multi-storey carpark on the main shopping street, but is in an picturesque enclosed courtyard off the street, where you could be transported back in time. We were warmly welcomed and loved the interior of this old building... More

This visit was a birthday meal on sat evening and exceeded all expectations with personal touches like happy birthday written on plate. The star of the night had to be the... More

Stopped here for breakfast on the way home from the lakes. I liked the fact you could choose what you wanted on your breakfast. There was 6 of us and we all had something different. Food was quick and cooked nice. Friendly waitress.
