It is always great to sit down at Greens and know that I am going to get a great choice. As someone who is wheat intolerant Greens is a dream come true. The pear and ginger pudding was wonderful yesterday, I have added it to my favourites list alongside the chocolate brownies (to die for) I also find out useful... More

This place caters for all tastes. I had a toastie with hummus and it was filled to bursting with delicious home made hummus. Had pot of coffee later in the day and that was also good stuff, especially with a slice of cake.

As it was a sunny evening we sat outside in the small courtyard, which is a pleasant spot, although... More

We walked from the Britannia inn in the Langdale estate over to Grassmere especially to go to Greens. We have two members of our family that are coeliacs and it was fabulous to see that were well catered for and the rest of the family enjoyed there meal ... We would love to be back.

we called in at greens for a lite lunch instead of our usual sunday roast. i had a real surprise when we were given the choice of 2 soups. most eateries only have 1 and rarely is it 1 that i like. wow , both of them were my favourites, pea and ham and veg. i struggled to pick one... More

Lovely shared starter and mains, too full for pudding despite them sounding amazing! Nice friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely come back!

We visited a couple of months ago and was impressed, so thought we'd give it another visit to see if it had been a one off. This bistro MUST be visited if you're in the area. We had coffee & cake (gluten free), with gluten-free biscuit for the coeliac sufferer. We chose them again for a special lunch time treat.... More

Called at greens again during recent short stay at the lakes. The rarebit is highly recommended & the side salad was delicious. Partner had the sausage baguette which he thoroughly enjoyed. Food was hot & coffee lovely, just wished I'd had a drop left to wash food down with. Greens serves consistently good food using quality ingredients, I recommend strongly... More

A quality meal with good service and at an acceptable price. You do have to book for dinner as this restaurant is very popular.
