Wonderful choice, superb food, amazing relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good selection of wines too. we love it here.
The host and his serving and kitchen staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Normally, their sign announced, they only accepted non-hotel guests with a reservation, but we could just walk in after our hike had unexpectedly taken us here. The food also was very tasty. Excellent choice for both vegetarians and vegans....so nice being able to choose from everything on the menu!!

A special vegetarian restaurant with a great view. For those wanting to drink and not drive, you can stay in the hotel or if you're stayng in Grasmere, walk it in about 15 minutes.
A truly perfect setting, great company and an amazing vegan menu. Another perfect Christmas break spent at Lancrigg. The vegan menu was extensive, superb quality and made all the more special by such attentive and pleasant staff. A very special place.
