Ideal for a quick snack

We visited Veeva with my daughter-in law and grandchilren after school. The service is excellent, choose your food and drinks, pay for them, the drinks are made to order and then everything brought to your table. The food is varied, from cooked snacks to cakes etc. and quite reasonably priced. The... read more

I often pop in on my own to have a coffee, and occasionally something to eat. It's always comfortable, and the coffee is really, really nice. Of course, the bread is wonderful. I always get a loaf on the way out. Remember COCKERMOUTH is still open for business, despite the flooding!

With bread baked below, this is an excellent cafe found along a side street off the main Street in Cockermouth. There are interesting details in the furnishings. There are a delicious range of snacks available. Some very good wholefood type cakes and good quality bread. This is a friendly and popular venue.

The barrista brewed a great flat white with robust coffee that was just milky enough. Totally delicious. We would recommend their sandwiches. We had the... More

The staff are very good and attentive. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the music is good in the background. But please can you make the... More

Best coffee in town, properly served made with very good knowledge and you can tell they care about their coffee drinkers. Lovely cakes best ginger shortbread around. Out of this world upmarket food but not for the price which you would expect. Always give you the milks you ask for unlike other places in town which will tell you it's... More

We love our morning and to be honest our Afternoon coffee break, but we noticed a write up on the board on a sheet about a Sausage and Beer night on the Friday night, so we thought, well end of our week, that would be nice. Welll it was. We arrived about 19:00 and were we normaly sit was very... More
