Good Food, Good Service

Have eaten here a couple of times and both times the coffee and the food were delicious. Could not fault it or the service. Hidden gem of Cockermouth - look it out!

Can't fault this place! From it's ethics, to it's quality, to it's great service. Second visit and even more impressed!

I visited this eaterie today on recommendation of two different people, both Cockermouth residents. Up a little road off the main street this visit proved to be a good choice. Down stairs is an area where home baked produce can be purchased which incorporates an eating area. Upstairs are table and chairs with large easy sofas to sit and enjoy... More

At last somewhere that really does know how to brew a flat white! And yes, I wish we'd felt able to try more than just the very tasty samples on the counter but too full following a hotel cooked breakfast. All the bread looked and smelled wonderful and the menu was very tempting. Spacious upstairs but busy and clearly popular... More

Always great coffee here - best in Cumbria! Food choice is locally sourced and always great. Excellent Loweswater salad last week. Bread made on the premises is a treat. Go go go !!!

Andy, the owner is a coffee aficionado and there's always a wide variety of beans to select from. The snacks are high quality and cakes are delicious. The place is slightly hidden (just off the main street) in Challoner Street and is primarily an upstairs location. If you love coffee, this place is a delight - with a pleasant atmosphere... More

Excellent coffee, and the cakes and sandwiches looked fine, although I didn't buy any. If you are there, buy some of their take out bread which is produced on the premises

Went with my Grandma for lunch. Portions were a good size, so much so that Gran couldn't finish hers (was no problem for me though). Had a vanilla Milkshake which was delicious and the waitresses were very nice. Also my dad loves the coffee here, and he knows his stuff.

I love this place, great atmosphere, great staff, great food and drink! There are not many places where you can go as an individual, couple or family and feel relaxed and never rushed. Sit and chat or read the paper in peace with a fantastic cup of whatever! My love of coffee has grown while visiting here and nowhere quite... More
